I never thought I'd get excited about plates... until I got my hands on these! Let me tell you, these glass plates have been a total game changer in my kitchen. First off, they’re huge—like, seriously huge—but somehow they still fit perfectly in my microwave, which is kind of magical when you think about it. No more squishing my food into tiny plates or waiting for it to warm up in multiple batches. The tempered glass is a dream too. Not only does it look sleek and modern, but it’s also super easy to keep clean. I can actually see when they're spotless, which is more than I can say for some of my old dishes! Plus, because they’re glass, I’m not worried about scratching or staining, and they give off those good vibes every time I pull them out. Whether I’m reheating leftovers, making a quick snack, or using them to serve up dinner, these plates have earned their place in my kitchen. I don’t know how I ever lived without them—highly recommend them for anyone who loves functional, stylish dishes that get the job done!

I have been ordering these same glass plates from this seller for awhile. Love them! I DO NOT have any of these plates break. You cannot put hot boiling food on them. I put my steamed veggies on them and other items that are nice and hot but not too boiling hot. It’s not good to cook food that is too hot. Cooking food takes all the nutrition out of your food anyway. Why burnout out your vitamins and nutrients. These are very well made. They are not too heavy or light. I will plan to continue ordering these in the future. Love them!

I use these for microwaving. I got rid of plastic storage years ago and have always avoided using any kind of plastic for microwaving - I even unload frozen items from their store packaging and put them in glass before putting them in the microwave. I don’t want to use stoneware either as water vapor eventually works into the microscopic cracks that develop in the glaze over time and end up rupturing my good dishes. About 4 years ago, I bought a set of 8 square dishes from IKEA that could go in the oven and microwave. I love them - they’re 6 inches along each side, about 2 inches deep, and the perfect size for single servings to reheat in the microwave. For a while, I had a set of square, almost flat Libby plates that fit right over the top like a lid to hold in heat, but they gradually started breaking from being placed directly on the counter after microwaving (I also suspect my husband and his use of the plates to eat on because he cuts meat like he’s trying to cut through the plate as well). I found these to use as lids instead and I absolutely love them. They are not flat - they’re kind of a cross between a flat bowl and a plate. The raised sides make them perfect as a lid because they hold to the square dishes without gapping. They’re super durable and also great for use as a plate to eat off. When I want a plate instead of a bowl, I just use one of these with another on top as the lid and heat away. They’re the perfect size for small meals and snacks as well as for covers. I’m totally sold on these and just bought 2 more sets of 3 to ensure that I have plenty in case of the inevitable breakage that is just a side effect of living in a house with a perpetually distracted husband. I can see a world of uses for these plates and love the unusual shape. I heartily recommend them.

I really loved these little plates when I first got them, in fact I ordered two more sets! Then it started to happen...I had one sitting on my counter and it just randomly exploded/shattered in a million pieces. I wasn't even in the room! The second time this happened it was in the dishwasher, shattered all in the bottom of the dishwasher. The third time it happened it was in the kitchen sink shattered/blown apart when I came home from work! And it just happened again in dishwasher! I threw the rest of them away because it's just too dangerous! Such a bummer because the size and shape are perfect for smaller meals, but it is quite alarming that they just blow apart like that! I have contacted amazon about this issue, we shall see if they care enough to stop selling these!

I wish I had gotten 5" or 7" for a toast plate. They are nice glass plates, and I use them and happy.

There were only 3. Usually when I have purchased plates they come in a set of 4 or more.

I really love these. They match my other dinnerware. Glass is heavy and perfect size for toast or small salad.

Plate just suddenly shattered with my partners Chinese on; no warning just the sound of glass breaking.
