There is no Velcro or locking mechanism but once you figure it out they secure tightly through the loops. Don’t expect any help from the instructions — you might have to play around with it for a few minutes to figure out how to tighten. The material seems durable and holds in place when in use on a trail. No complaints there. Installation will be easier if you take the top off your Jeep you can wrap it around the roll bar, but I was able to do it with the top of my Jeep on relatively easily. Personal preference: They didn’t have white so I wrapped mine in white electrical tape that I got from Lowe’s for like $4 to match the other white trim I have on the interior. Overall I’m happy with this product and it works as expected.

They are way better than I had previously purchased. That set used velcro and the straps were stitched on backwards making them useless, unless I wanted to learn how to sew.

So far they work excellent and with stand a lot of force. Easy to install.

Judging from my last purchase, these handles lasted about a year (each) before they broke. The original ones from Jeep/Mopar lasted abut 5 years each before breaking. My TJ is a daily driver and those handles get a lot of use.

Getting in and out of a raised Jeep is no easy task. Not for me, my wife, or my kids. Having an extra hand(le) is necessary. (That's a good pun, admit it!). Installing these were a breeze, just attach them to the bar and tighten.

I bought these for my Jeep Wrangler JL and they fit perfectly. I guess they may have better grip for JK model as they have cloth clovers at the rollbars. My JL has platic cover with body painted frame rollbar so it may be slipping a bit. But so far so good. I like the quality and quantity (a set of 4), and they are pretty sturdy and affordable. If you are in Jeep Wrangle family, try these out. You will like them.
