It works well with the manufacturers batteries.
I bought a reciprocating saw from Lidl which came with a single battery but no charger. After searching on on the Lidl site and not finding a charger I searched on Amazon and did find this charger for the battery. I could have also bought extra batteries exactly the same as the ones that came with the saw if needed. I have tried the saw and it works well. It's not too heavy or noisy and have since bought a pack of spare blades for both wood and metal.

Wrong Plug
I ordered the item which stated it had a UK plug and although the item itself was fine a continental plug was provided.

Make sure you getting the correct size battery as the first one I got was too small for what I needed fortunately I have another tool that it works with
