RobertshawControls 41-205 NORTON OVEN IGNITOR

Not only did this igniter install easily and function fluently, but the delivery and packaging of the product was eye opening. It was simply beautiful to receive this product for the price I did and the function of its use! Whenever I need HVAC supplies I know where I am shopping. Thank you!

Well pagaged american made part. Comes with wire nuts and everything needed to install. These will last a lot longer that the Chinese made parts.

Had to replace the ignitor in Amana oven. Unfortunately all the replacement ignitors come with different metal housing (with different mounting brackets). Apparently the ceramic part is the same in all models using the flat ignitor. So finally I ordered this one (the cheapest), removed the part from housing and installed it in the old housing with proper mounting holes. Works perfectly, oven was on in 10 seconds!

I contacted Brown to get the igniter part number for model wtm721-kw. They responded saying that they needed the unit type number. I decided that it would be easy to remove it and buy one that looked similar and this one did the trick. It took about 5 minutes to reinstall the new ignitor and reassemble the oven. I plugged it back in and the test went well.I'll update if it fails early but it's a 5-star for now.

Easy to install. Figured I would have to use the old mounting bra ket & I did. Works great, oven lights right away. Preheats faster now as well.

Worked well on the oven of our 27+-year-old Magic Chef range... Our old ignitor was starting to get slow to light the oven and the gas company came out for another matter and wanted $200 to do the repair - Go Fish!I had replaced the ignitor previously, some years ago, so I knew I could do it myself for under $20 and a bit of elbow grease. A headlamp helped me see the nitty-gritty details to get the job done.This name brand was less expensive than some generic options.Shortened and stripped wires and attached... The ceramic wire-nuts provided were too loose on just the two wires, so I doubled over the conductors so the wire nuts could bite into the metal a bit and stay connected (minus one star for the over-sized wire nuts)

From what I could tell there is only one manufacturer of these igniters, and the price is all over the place. Robert Shaw company seemed to have the best packaging and documentation, as well as a helpful website to identify compatibility of the igniter to my stove. No fault of the seller, the igniter was difficult to install due to the screws in the old igniter breaking off. I ended up removing the burner itself to be able to drill the screws out. But once back together the igniter has performed flawlessly thus far. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Product recieved is exactly as described and shown in the description. found this product to be a suitable replacement for LG part #MEE61841401. All you need to do is swap the shields from your old/bad igniter to the new one and splice the wires onto the old igniter harness. Provides close enough to the same amperage draw to open the safety valve and resolved the F11 error code displayed on the control panel. Fast shipping too. Had the part in my hand three days after ordering, and all for almot a quarter the price as the above mentioned LG part.

Very happy with this purchase! Arrived earlier then the expected delivery date. Worked perfectly with NXR professional series, as suggested by an amazon customer that confirmed it worked for NXR gas stoves, many thanks to that individual who took the time to review this product which gave me the confidence to buy and try it. I also saved a lot of money as the same part would have cost me $150 directly from NXR ! Made in USA, has been working for one month and very satisfied!
