Very good headphones!
Love these headphones I’ve had them a while now, the sound quality and mic are perfect size and comfortable I’d say maybe wearing for a few hour you get hot ears but it’s still very good, best for winter and when you don’t want to annoy the neighbours with sounds, connects great and very good durability

Good sound and volume with a clear mic.
There does seem to be quite a few bad reviews for this headset, talking about a bad sound quality lacking bass and also talking about the mic being terrible or not working….well that’s not my experience of them at all. These have a good sound despite the bad reviews. It’s a very neutral sound, I’d be interested to see the Harman curve because these have almost good as sound as some of my audiophile IEMs and headphones that cost hundreds and use balanced cables. For the price i have zero complaints. The cable is a little lacking but for a gaming headset I can live with it. I imagine those writing bad reviews about bass have never heard a 24bit FLAC played through a good pair of neutral headphones. Probably too used to beats headphones and bass making up for lack of quality in highs and mids. But I digress, I didn’t buy these for FLACs. In gaming they have more than enough bass so that footsteps are clearly audible in PUBG for example. I don’t understand why people would want more bass than these can provide. The sound is just neutral so source is everything. If the source is bass heavy the drivers can produce a heavy bass. You can always use an EQ if you really need the bass to be heavier in games. But playing MW2 with these on, any heavier bass and my eyeballs would rattle with every explosion. The mic is good, it’s very clear. Almost too clear, I can hear every little movement of my tongue and lips when talking for example. Like using a sensitive condenser mic. It didn’t help that the foam cover was missing from my box, I’m hoping with a replacement one, that it might tone down the sensitivity a little. I am only using the first level of mic boost and the volume is ample. Using detection mode for the mic on MW2 works great. Overall I’m happy with these. I needed a multi system pair for use on both series x and Pc so chose these over the V2 with USB. I don’t regret it at all. The included 7.1 surround software for PC also makes a nice difference to the sound in gaming but it does drop your audio bitrate down to 16bit 48khz. So I don’t use it for music as I like 24bit 96khz+

Exceptional sound and comfort for gamers!
I recently purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 gaming headset, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! As an avid gamer, I've tried several headsets, but this one stands out for its exceptional sound quality, comfort, and overall performance. Comfort: The memory foam ear cushions are a game-changer! I can wear this headset for hours without discomfort. The lightweight design and adjustable headband ensure a snug fit, which is perfect for long gaming sessions. Mic performance: HyperClear Cardioid microphone is another highlight. It captures my voice clearly and minimizes background noise, making communication with my teammates effortless. Build quality and design: The build quality feels solid yet lightweight, and I love the sleek design, looks amazing on my setup.

Great headset with clear sound and a comfortable fit, even during long sessions. The microphone works well, and the build quality feels solid. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Not great for console gamers
These gaming headphones are reasonably well made and feel solid overall. They fit comfortably over the ears and remain comfortable during longer gaming sessions, while also looking stylish and modern. However, there are a few design choices that hold them back. The biggest issue is the 3.5mm jack connector, which is angled at 90 degrees rather than being straight like most standard headphone jacks. When plugged into a controller, this forces the cable either forwards or backwards instead of naturally hanging downward, making it awkward to hold and often getting in the way of your fingers during gameplay. Sound quality is generally good, with clear and powerful audio, but the bass is heavily overemphasised. Unfortunately, this tends to drown out more subtle sound details and can make voice communication harder to hear clearly. On PC, this can largely be corrected using the manufacturer’s audio software to create a cleaner and more balanced sound profile. Console users, however, are limited to basic system audio settings, which do little to improve or rebalance the audio experience. The microphone quality is surprisingly strong, delivering clean and sharp voice clarity for chat and communication. Sadly, both the microphone and cable are permanently attached to the headset. This means that if either component becomes damaged, the entire headset is effectively unusable, which is disappointing from a durability and repairability standpoint. Overall, these headphones offer good build quality, comfort, and style, and they may be a solid option for PC gamers who can fine-tune the audio through software. For console gamers, though, the awkward cable design and overly bass-heavy sound profile make them harder to recommend, especially when there are better alternatives available at a similar price point.

Perfect
Honestly im not sure why there's alot of people saying bad things about this headset because its actually really good the sound quality is amazing and this is from someone whose paid out a couple of hundred on headsets (razer, turtle beach etc) they are very comfy and light weight the wire is the perfect length the only one thing that gets me is sometimes the audio will go funny because the jack is being moved on the controller but all headsets do this if you want a decent headset and you dont wanna spend hundreds this is the one to get the downfall for me is its not wireless haha but honestly to best budget friendly headset :)

Absolute Amazing Product ~ Durability and Sound On Point!
★★★★★ [5/5] — Amazing sound and Incredible Durability! Review: I have had this headset since 2024, and have ABUSED IT! This headset has fallen off my desk from my cats, fallen off my head onto the floor, you name it... and this headset just keeps pushing. The sound for one is great, and the mic quality is amazing. It feels REALLY comfortable, and the price was really not that bad. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this product, so much so, that I would buy this again... BUT I DON'T NEED TO. So far after 2 years of abuse the cord is only JUST starting to act weird. Buy this, or any other versions of the BlackShark! Pros: Comfortable Great Sound For BOTH Music & Gameplay Clear Microphone Build Quality Is Top Notch Cons: From what I can see, there is NO drawbacks of this headset. Verdict: For a headset that holds it's own in sound quality AND build quality, get this product 100%.

Very satisfied.
I had the original BlackShark V1 headset and recently picked up the V2, and while the V2 is a solid overall improvement in terms of sound and comfort, there are a few trade-offs. The audio quality is definitely a step up—wider soundstage, clearer detail, and better balance overall. The ear cushions are softer and more breathable, making long sessions much more comfortable. That said, the mic is pretty mediocre. It gets the job done for voice chat, but it sounds a bit flat and compressed compared to other headsets in the same price range. Also, while the V2 has a more modern and refined look, I still think the original V1 looked better purely from an aesthetic standpoint—it had more of that tactical, distinctive vibe. Still, the V2 delivers where it counts in terms of sound and comfort, even if it lost a bit of personality along the way but I would absoluetly recommend it for a budget friendly gaming headset.
