Good Book
Don't be fooled. This may be a Dummies book but it is well written and informative. The authors explain and introduce NLP competently. The Dummies format helps to reduce the psychobabble and keeps the concepts understandable. If you are interested in NLP this is a good place to start.

Better than many 3rd editiion is very inclusive...
I have many books on NLP. If you have read one or two then you need this book. It puts you through a good sequence of study. It has many tables and worksheets to aid you and provide practical methods. Very complete. If you are coming at NLP cold this is not the book as it can get you to a point where you know you got information, but you are not quite sure how it is integrated and locks together. A great second or third book and I will be watching for this Author.

It did what I bought it to do.
I bought it to learn how to change the way I think about things and it has helped, I did not buy it to manipulate people and there's a lot of that covered.

Good. But Too Much Repetition
This book is a good introduction to the concept and practice of neuro-linguistic programming. It is a version that is made for "dummies" like me.Romila Ready started by defining what NLP is, and how it helps a person in daily life. I like concepts like 'clean language' that she introduced in the second half of the book. The overall 'Dummies' structure of clearly highlighting anecdotes, giving jargon alerts, highlighting warnings etc., is good. There are some good concepts and material in the book, but there is also a lot of verbiage. At the end, I was just glad that the book was coming to an end!
