Working as expected

I thought the first one did not work - so I ordered a replacement. Turns out - the new one also did not work. Then it turns out there is actually a switch - such stylishly crafted that I was unable to understand that it was a switch. Trust me, I tried for 30 mins to turn the thing on for the first item.Then, I found the switch - and it turned on, and just worked.So please update the item description stating that there is actually a switch that is stylishly, one has to find it, and turn it on.My mistake, but not entirely.

Ports are very nearby from one another so its defficult to insert the pins in ports one after another

I have seen some good reviews for the GM G-Power 6+1 Spike Adopter over Amazon, but my experience with the product is far from good. I have used this product only for 2 months at my home with light appliances at any time not more than 4, such as phones, laptop and a piano. The daily usage was around 4 to 5 hours, and after 2 months the board burnt from inside and all socket connections were melted while in use.Product details:This is a 6 socket extension board with all international sockets in 3x2 configuration. All these sockets come with child safety shutters, so it’s a kids friendly idea. Two of these shutters used to get struck and need to release after every use using a pen refill. The outer body is primarily built with plastic. There is a single master switch for all sockets with an indicator. The cable length is close to 2 meters.This one comes with a thermal overload trip and also works as spike guard. Whenever there is overload, a red small button on the side case pops out restricting the power flow in the circuit. It has input current capacity of 10A.Cons:1. There are no individual switches for sockets, that means we need to remove the plugs for all unused appliances when they are not in use.2. The master switch is not smooth and some times used to struck in-between3. The child safety shutters are not smooth, they used to get struck frequentlyOverall this level of poor quality was not expected from GM.

Quality of GM products had deteriorated massively.I had bought the same product 3 years back in grey colour and that has excellent quality. It's still going strong and all electronics connected to it have been prepared against wild voltage fluctuations. The best part of it is that all plugs, regardless of their size, fit perfectly without being loose. Even all of my electronics with 2-pin US plugs could be plugged in.On basis of my earlier experience I bought this red one recently. As soon as i opened the box, the difference in quality was apparent. The plastic is much cheaper quality. Most importantly, the plugs don't fit well. It's just not the same product as it was 3 years back. It's poorly made. Maybe GM changed its manufacturer. Returned this immediately.
