I expected this gel to be clear. It's not -- it's a dark grayish-green color. Is it supposed to be that color?

Mine is brown too, but only at the bottom half of the bottle. The top portion is clear. When I pump it out, I get brown. When I open the top and pour it out, I get clear. Just makes me think the product is rather old. Not sure I feel safe using this.
