Belaco USB fan

Bad item, came broken, cracked and unusable. unable to assemble properly, I emailed and asked for a replacement they said no and they said they would give 60% refund if I kept the item. Not good enough.

I got 3 of these. All 3 arrived in sealed and undamaged boxes. After unpacking I found all 3 have dents in the front mesh grill.All 3 have already rust on the metal grill front. 1 screw missing. 2 of the 3 were not put together correctly and therefore made noise. These are to cheap to return and go into a garage, so cosmetics don't matter. I found a matching screw in my toolbox, was able to straighten the dents, unscrewed the backs of the "squeeky" ones, put them back together correctly, works. They are cheap, but I had the same model for 2years running 24/7 before the motor gave up. So, for this price that's very OK, but I do recommend to increase Quality control at dispatch with the manufacturer. Since the boxes were OK, all these issues must have happened with the manufacturer.

This is the 2nd one of this model I have ordered, The first was assembled as instructed with no problems. But, when switched on and fan rotating, there was a loud click when it reversed it's oscillation. Powerful airflow and quiet otherwise. BUT, the clicking would not let me sleep. The oscillation button on top rotated at an angle and you could see it hesitate when it clicked. I like the fan otherwise so I ordered it again hoping that the first one was just a one off problem. The second one came and I switched it on prior to assembly to see it the CLICK was there. It was and the Oscillation button was still at an angle and wabbled on the click. So, the 2nd one was returned as well. I will order a different fan this time but most available looked identical to the one I got. Just under a different name.

1.1m lead, 3.5v USB plug, metal frame and legs with 3 adjustable rubber feet (no rattle or shake), stainless steel fan blades. Not totally silent but pretty quiet. Easy accessible on-off switch. Looks and feels premium quality. everyone in the office and home has been using them and raves at how they've helped. Last year we had some nice (cheaper) plastic framed one. They were OK but these look tougher, nicer, with heft and don't shuffle around the desk from back pressure.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Just had these for the kids during the hot weather. They both have them plugged into their games consoles in thier bedrooms and its been enough to keep them cool and comfortable during both the day and night. They are very quiet and neither of the kids have been kept awake by the sound. Are quite powerful when used close by and in small areas like a kids bedroom or when your playing on a games console with ot plugged into the console as the kids have. Obviously if you were standing the other side of a large room you wouldn't really feel this but in a smaller space its great.

The main screw was broken in two so I had to bodge it together. There was a mini bracket missing for the cage around it. Apart from that it works OK.

Product looks exactly as it is depicted in the product photos advertised. No assembly required. Just take it out of the box and shove it into your PC, easily done. Noise level is very good, however, I am a huge advocate for background ASMR so I might not be the best person to recommend low noise levels lol. That aside, the noise is nice and smooth and as low a level as I think it could be given the product size and materials. The wire is nice and long so if you want to place it far away from the PC then you can, otherwise just simply use the given tie wrap (the one used in the packaging) to neatly store the excess wires like I do. The only thing worth mentioning for me is that the metal framing on my product was slightly bent (see photos) on the right hand side and so it does not look perfectly symmetrical. All things considered and, given the product's only function is to work as a fan, not look 100% perfect, still five stars and no complaints from me!

This is made from very cheap poor grade flexible plastic, with a poor finish.. I’ve seen better quality takeaway plastic trays ..The stand is not flat so it wobbles and it is definitely not quiet... The front name plate on the grill had been attached with the packaging plastic bag behind it so I had to remove it to get the bag off! The impeller is again made of cheap flexible plastic. If it was a fiver then okay but wished I had got one from Tesco, much better quality at a similar price.
