Do not hesitate to purchase
Verified purchase. Analysis of the reviews may stimulate hesitation in purchasing. However, if one takes a moment to review the seller own video, you will see that the horizontal baffle paddle positioning is designed to be loose. It is not designed to lock your steering wheel, but rather hender from being driven in any reasonable distance. It’s practical and convenient. If a thief desires your vehicle nothing will stop the thief. Understanding that ALL steering wheel locks are a deterrent not a stopping mechanism, Looseness does not equate to ineffectiveness. Check your personal expecting prior to purchase by watching seller video. Clearly in video it’s loose, however, the vehicle will not be able to be reasonable driven. Unless the thief has circular saw to cut your steering will in multiple places, it is not going anywhere reasonably without your key to remove the lock. In addition, the lock is quite aesthetically satisfactory to the eye or appearance.

Not a good fit for a 2018 Hyundai Elantra SEL
I can’t rate this wheel lock badly for not fitting my vehicle, it’s a nice heavy and solid unit, attractive, and well made, but, I wanted to save someone else a headache.I watched every video on the web and read all the directions I could find and no matter where/ which way I fastened this thing to my last car’s steering wheel, it would still turn too far to consider it locked and secure, which was unfortunate because I liked the look of this one.The problem was that the area on my dashboard above my speedometer etc was elevated more than the rest of the dash but not enough for this unit to work. It works well on a dash that is even across the top as well as one that has a more elevated “bump”.There’s a video on YouTube that shows if you lock it in place at the lowest spot on the dash right next to the elevated area (if that area is high enough) it will stay in place. In my Hyundai it wouldn’t lock tight enough to keep it from sliding over the top of that bump, so, my wheel would still turn from approximately 10 0’clock - 2 0’clock.

Nice idea if everything in your car is positioned just so...
Ok, I have to start by saying that I REALLY wanted to like this lock. For the most part, I do. And here's the but...In order for this to work, your steering wheel has to be fairly close to the dash when fully extended and the dash needs to be fairly flat. In a Mazda CX-5, the steering wheel pulls out a fair distance from the dash. T Ok, for starters, one reviewer said to insall this with the steering wheel dropped to its lowest position. If you do that, then all the theif has to do is raise the steering wheel and the bar lifts up off of the dash giving a fair amount of play. he arch of the instrument cluster makes it worse. As you can see in the picture, the wheel rotates and actually if I really push it, can clear the lcd. To install it in the CX-5, I have to pull the steering wheel out and all the way up, close the latch, and then push the steering wheel back in so that the tension on the horn is a hair trigger away from sounding. Even then, pulling the steering wheel back out leaves plenty of play room.I will say that in every attempt I made to force it past the edges of the dash, it did make the horn sound at least once. Turning the wheel to the left was possible but I had to really pull on it to clear the corner and the horn sounded. Points for that.I think if my dash were flat, adjusting the screw to lock the angle of the horn cover would allow it to be more securely installed. As for that screw: It's a nice idea but if you have an hex wrench, you can loosen the lock. That screw should really be inaccessable when locked. It's nice looking. I'll give it that but I'm torn. I'm not sure a steering wheel lock should be nice looking. I think it should be really noticeable. The reality is that, even the mighty Disklock is easily removed by a pro with the right tools and a few seconds of time. So the use of these locks is to deter the casual thief. So high visibility is key. You want the lock to be seen. Anyone who isn't deterred by the lock is not going to really care if it's there. This lock is kind of classy looking. It's also easy to miss. Let's face it. If a lock looks crappy, you're not going to be in your car to look at it. The advantage here is the lock looks classy sitting on the floor of your car when it's not in use.Its construction is mostly ok. I can nitpick about the stitch lines being off center or crooked but the only issue is the ratchet slots of the lock aren't uniform and the last one is slightly thicker than the rest. I have to lock it in that spot and it's very hard to get it to go that last click. Once click less and it's really loose. The clicks need to be closer together but my guess is that would compromise its strength. So all i all, if it worked perfectly with my car, then I'd give it a 4-4.5. For me, it doesn't work well although I will continue to use it. As I said, I really want to like it. It deserves better than a 3 so I'll go with 4.

Perfect little added security
In a world where thieves can now hijack your key fob frequency and drive off without even breaking a window, this little device gives me a whole lot of piece of mind. It's in plain view where as the club could be missed by a thief who may get into your car only to find they can't drive it away. What do they do then? They take whatever they can from inside. This deters would be thieves; is well designed and sturdy and it still fits in my Kia Soul's glove compartment. It may be too big to fit in yours though.

Easy to store and apply. Just one little problem...
This product is nicely built and much easier to apply than the CLUB...don't need key to put in place. Can easily be stored in between the seat and console on my JEEP. I do have on little problem. The screw that adjust the horn paddle is loose fitting. I used a thread lock and problem solved. I could easily see that screw coming loose and it falling out who knows where...Otherwise this product is very nice

1st of all, the vendor has done their best to provide a guide on how to use. The issue I believe is the language barrier, so you may want to read it a few times. It was with the allen key adjustment. Pretty much non existent on what to do. However, the screw set that gets adjusted with the key will adjust the baffle distance between it and the horn/steering wheel face and the distance between the arm on dash and wheel. Makes it nice and snug.Ok, about the lock. Love it. I have a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and hated fighting with or easily storing "The Club" that I have. This lock is the perfect size to fit as well as remove and store.Like advertised, provided you adjusted your screw set properly (very easy), the lock sits/fits snuggly on when wheel. Any type of force will sound the horn. The lock is heavy medal and would take a very long time to cut through. The recommendation is to put the lock arms straddling one of the wheel spokes (makes thieves have to cut two parts of the steering wheel). For me, I have a hard time putting my wheels in this position, others might not so it is placed straight on not straddling. I am confident that anyone attempting to cut my steering wheel will sound off the horn.Other than that, you could wheeled this thing and use to smash your window if trapped in. It's solid, heavy

No one Stole my Car yet !!!
The item looks great and seem quite sturdy. Additional security is sadly needed where we live. Rebate from Insurance company is welcome. Easy and quick to install and remove. Required small adjustment with Allen Key when used on a 2017 Honda CIVIC EX.

Muy buena calidad
Compré este producto por las reseñas positivas que leí, le queda bien a mi VW Gol, el material se ve resistente y es un extra para evitar robos, los que hay en algunas tiendas los he sentido muy frágiles, este sí se siente resistente
