Needs key and code
This is a great safe. I needed one that was a tad bigger and more secure than commonly found hotel safes, but still small enough to fit on my Ikea bookshelf in my home office. This safe checks both boxes. It is sturdy and big enough for key items you want to keep locked up. You need to type a code first and then unlock with a key, which I did not realize when I ordered it. I thought the key was just an override if the batteries go out, but you need to use the key (came with 3) and the code, which makes this even safer. Very happy with the quality and what you get at a much lower price point than many other brands.

The best Idea .
I bought this for my son's dorm room where he will be an it was perfect for his room , im definitely coming back to get another for my self . Security level is nice as well three different options 👌🏽 Great, Thank you....

Has to be a better one out there this size
Directions not very clear. Had a very very hard time changing pin number and getting the finger print reader to read/save. Otherwise it does what I need it to.

Good Safe.
Good size to fit plenty of things however the instructions on how to change the code are incorrect in reference being able to set a 3 digit code. The safe requires, at least, a 4 digit code. This is what I encountered and it worked.
