Like all other 3rd party cartridges, the HP printer does its best to reject them, with 'missing or damaged' error messages. My recommendation is to replace just one cartridge at a time; you will have to remove and reinsert them each 3-6 times before the printer grudgingly acknowledges they are not original and allows the final setup to proceed. So it will take 10+ minutes to get all 4 replacement cartridges working, after which they behave just like authentic HP ones, but at a very small fraction of the cost. Unlike some other 3rd party cartridges I have used there is no leaking or smearing, and print quality seems high. I cannot justify paying almost $100 for genuine HP cartridges to put in a 4+ year old printer that cost around $120, and neither should you.

I can't get any of the four of these ink cartridges to work in my HP-6230. I have cleaned the printer contact a couple of times. Cycled the printer on and off. Removed and reloaded the cartridges and nothing works. These have been stored unopened about eleven months in a dry cool area and just today removed from the box and individual cellophane packs. It looks like I wasted money by trying to save a few dollars!

These ink cartridges seem to last forever!! The ink is great quality and gives vibrant prints that have fast drying pigment. No wet or wavy sheets here! I always get over 1000 prints before I am alerted of low ink. Did I mention the chip technology? I love the chip system which makes it easy to install and refill. I can see when the ink is running low and can purchase a new pack without waiting until my pages print with streaks. The cartridges store well and are vacuum sealed with material that doesn’t absorb light so that the colors remain high quality on the shelf. I highly recommend these. They fit in my HP printer. The shipping is fast and convenient.

Rubbish

Was skeptic about this, but thought I will just try it out. The cartridge was not recognised at first. After a few times to remove and install, it was finally accepted and it works!
