Grippi Ring Lacrosse Stick End Cap - by LAXe Handle

This end cap is really cool. I've purchased at least 5 now for the kids on my team. They all love it because it reminds them of an ax handle.Cosmetics aside, the end cap actually provides a new spin on functional end caps. Especially when shooting. The slope of the end cap adds a more comfortable and ergonomic feel. Not only does it feel more comfortable in hand compared to traditional end caps, it can increase your shot speed if utilized correctly. This end cap adds an extra 1/2 inch or so to you shaft. The extra half inch allows for the user's hands to hold the stick at an even lower position, which translates into a faster shot.In the 15+ years I have spent playing and coaching lacrosse, I have never seen anything like this. I give this product two thumbs up, and the kids on my team love it. Keep up the good work!

Bought this for my U-13 son's new D-pole. I can't yet speak to how it holds up, or whether it provides some kind of playing/throwing power advantage, but here are a couple of positives: (1) it's got good heft/mass to it, not too huge but for the defensemen making checks, it will let you know exactly where the butt-end is, and (2) it has an approximate 1" lip at the top, which is designed for (and perfect for) wrapping tape around to fix the thing to stick--it won't be popping off until we remove the tape (note: if you're NOT using tape, it wasn't a super tight fit on his Maverick brand stick, so it would slide off). And, kind of tough looking, for whatever that's worth.

It's a rugged and durable item, so excessive protection was not required. I put it on my LAX stick and tried it out before applying any tape to the handle. Even without tape support, the LAXe Handle stayed secure on the stick and let me rip a few shots without concern.The protruding notch on the handle gives me great support and security when I shoot, and it also serves as a targeting-assist mechanism. The notch aligns with the direction that the LAX head is facing, so that even without having developed a "sense" for stick-orientation, a novice LAX player can be confident of the direction his stick's head is pointed based on the feel of the LAXe Handle in his glove.Questions and comments are always welcome. Purchased this for my son. He plays defense at the high school level. The end cap was a little too big for his Warrior Burn Pro Diamond stick, but this was easily solved with a few wraps of lacrosse tape. After one practice, my son declared it a winner. He likes the way the asymmetric design helps him orient the position of his stick without looking at the head. He also said the butt provided a little more leverage on his stick checks. (He wouldn't say it, but he also likes it because it looks bad @ss) I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars because the price seemed a little steep for an end cap. Recommended.

not sure if it really helps or hinders performance but what it does do is help my son (and me) quickly ID his stick on the sidelines or after practice, especially since his club team all have matching team color heads/string setups.

This end cap is awesome. I have bought a total of 5 of them so far (I'm kinda OCD about all my handles feeling the same). Seems to add a bit more torque/shot speed and is solid on the shaft. Only better end cap I ever bought was the old Eagle Talon (you know, the one with the claw at the end). As that's not made anymore this one is hands down the best. Only wish they made it in a few more colors: blue, neon green etc. . . Will probably be buying more as I like these so much I may just convert the arsenal over :-)

We put LAXe handle on my 9yo sons new Warrior stick and he loves it. We were worried it would get caught up in his jersey, but no issues. He used it in his first game yesterday and scored 3 goals in a 6-1 win. He said he feels like he has more power. I can't say it is because of the handle, but in his mind it has helped. It has absolutely helped his confidence with his shots. ***UPDATE***My son ended up with 24 goals, 10 assist, his team won the Championship, and he was voted MVP. The Refs often pulled his stick to inspect it and check out the LAXe handle. He loves LAXe!!!!

My 15 year old son was the first on his team to have one. Now half the players on his Elite Team have them. Does not function better than a traditional cap but certainly adds a cool factor to his stick. One caveat- did not stay well on a Maverik WonderBoy D Pole. I had to add a piece of tape around the top to keep it firmly in place.
