Great tool.
I bought this to help remove the cracked glass on the iPad. This really is the greatest tool. It slipped right in, and the glass popped out. Resistance is futile. I find myself handing my 3 year old stuff, just to watch her drop it. Oh honey, you broke it. Mommy can fix it. Ok so my husband got a little upset when I started prying open stuff that was not broke ...yet. I figure he is on to me because he confiscated the iSesame. If you are prying open cracked glass, put some tape over the glass. It helps control removing the broken glass shards and slivers. Also please wear safety glasses, unless you want to go blind by a flying sliver of glass. And when you start prying open the iPad, be careful. I don't know the technical name for it, but there is a little white membrane thingy between the edge of the metal case and the glass. I started prying right at the metal, and soon realized my mistake. So, start at the edge of the glass. It is hard to see, but the iSesame will fit right in. I got that little membrane thingy a bit mangled, but used extra adhesive strips to stick it back in place.I gave 5 stars because it really is a great tool, and very easy to use. If I can't find where hubby relocated my iSesame, I will just have to by more.

Thin - works in really tight seams.
If you ever have to open a product with a very tight seam, this tool is probably the first thing I would start with. It's thin enough to get into most seams without causing damage and it's tough enough to open a space large enough for a secondary, slightly thicker tool. Prior to using this, my go-to for an initial spudger was a small piece of clamshell packaging because it's very thin and unlikely to leave any marks. This works pretty much just as well, but you do have to be a little more careful as it's not plastic-on-plastic. Every other tool I've used that was specifically made for the job didn't work nearly as well, in my opinion, because those other tools are much thicker (may as well use a small screwdriver). The only product for which this didn't work was my Google Nexus 7 tablet. In that case, my fingernails did the job nicely once I found a video online that illustrated the technique.

Already used it, but not for an iDevice repair
Someone gave me an older one and I loved it, but after a year I broke it(just me being stupid with it). I ordered two of these to keep one as a backup/secondary. I don't like doing iDevice repairs so I don't use them that often. But their use isn't limited to just iDevices. So far I have used these things for quite a few laptop LCD replacements, getting stripped screws out of tight spots, and even lifting the tabs on 3/4 pin fan header connectors, and motherboard front-panel connectors to pull the wires out of the plastic connector. Also did a few iPhone/iPad repairs with my previous one. Even though they're just a flat piece of metal with a grip, they work miracles. For the price, even if you don't do a lot of iDevice repairs, I'd order 2 or 3. They can be handy for a variety of things. A few tips 1. Don't place too much leverage on them, you can snap the tips. 2. It doesn't hurt to keep the tip sharp(They dull a bit over time) 3. To loosen screen glue on some devices, in addition to heating up the border of the screen, you can heat this thing with the heat gun/hair dryer so it "slices" the glue like butter. 4. Be careful of Wi-fi antennas and other ribbons, you can demolish them with this thing if you don't take it easy.

Great Little Tool Made In Italy
I was suprised when I opened up the small packaging to see the mad in Italy notation on the back. Just when you think everything is made in China. This is a good tool that a lot of thought has been put into. It feels good in your hand with its platic / rubber hand guard so the edges dont dig into your skin when you apply some pressure.Tool is flexable! Thats good because some times you have to really put the power into getting some things unstuck, so this tool will last and not be all bent up. It is made of spring steel so if it gets too wet and you dont dry it, it will rust some. Havent had that problem, its a just so you know.Works well on iPods and iPads and most any device where you must pry to get inside to fix screens and change out batteries. I do think that two of them might be helpful instead of using a place holder tool while you go around the endues to unlodge all the clip locks. Actually comes with good instructions that are helpful in its use and suggesting uses. When does that happen. This one is a keeper.

SO VERY USEFUL Best pry tools I've encountered in 30 years of opening any and all electronics.
Be gentle, but this is basically a very thin and strong blue triangle for opening phone tablets and laptops. I use two and never break tabs on anything like i did with all the plastic junk tools they give you. You will not scar anything if you are smart about it. Again the tips are very thin, they pry things open much better than plastic tools which are 5x thicker (and 10x weaker) than these near razor edges which slip right between anything, the thinness and the width of them when you twist them is why they don't scar anything. 10 phones 5 tablets 3 laptops, at the least. I even used them as an emergency hot knife once.

The Best There Is
I bought this to open my 160GB iPod Classic 7 Gen to replace the hard drive & battery, the most difficult iPod to open because it has 11 or 13 clips to deal with. This worked, first time, perfectly, if you follow the video instructions. I took me about 5 minutes because it was my first rodeo but this tool is better than the 10 others I tried. I highly recommend this tool.

Herramienta útilizable varias veces
Buena calidad, pero requiere utilizarse con mucho cuidado para no rayar el el teléfono cuando este es de plástico o romper las pestañas de sujeción de la tapa que se quiere retirar.
