Easy Replacement and Great Water Quality
This replacement filter was easy to install and fit my Waterdrop system perfectly. The replacement process was straightforward, and the water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher. I like that it helps reduce unwanted taste and odor while providing filtered water directly from the sink. A convenient replacement option for regular filter maintenance. Overall, very happy with the quality and performance.

Short lifespan but great company support
I’ve been using the Waterdrop RF15 filter and unfortunately my experience hasn’t matched the advertised lifespan. This filter is marketed to last up to 2 years or around 16,000–19,000 gallons depending on the model, but mine needed replacement after only about 10 months of normal household use. What’s especially disappointing is that I have the same under-sink filtration systems on other sinks in my home, all using comparable municipal water sources, and those filters consistently last over two years without any noticeable drop in flow or water quality. That makes this early failure stand out even more. Installation and water taste were both fine initially, and the filter performed well at first. However, the lifespan fell far short of expectations, especially given the manufacturer’s claims. It’s worth noting that actual filter life can vary based on water quality, but in my case the conditions are very similar across multiple systems, so this seems more like a product inconsistency than a water issue. Overall, decent performance while it lasts, but significantly shorter lifespan than expected compared to other filters Review Update: I wanted to provide an update to my original review. The company reached out and stood behind their product by promptly sending me a replacement filter. I appreciate their responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction. Their customer service definitely made a positive impression. Rating bumped up to five stars.

Fixed the Low Flow
Had filter for over a year with no issues. All of a sudden there was very little flow and was making like a rumbling noise. I ordered a replacement filter, installed and it did the same thing. Called customer support and they said remove the blue rings. Turn cold water off. To get these rings off, it was really easy once you know how to....you will need to both hands, one on the blue rings by pressing the blue ring in against the cartridge and the other hand pushing/pulling the hose out. I removed both hoses from the filter cartridge but it wasn't needed. with the inlet hose off the cartridge, I turned the water back on and ran the water straight from the hose into a bowl and it was no clog in the hose. I then hooked both hoses back to the filter cartridge and it worked without an issue. Guess needed to bleed the line of air or if a small particle was in the hose. My guess is the issue was the air was keeping the flow from going full strength.

Great filtration, simple to install, & replace
My city water sometimes smells like the sink is full of bleach. It also has a lot of rust sediment. My house is more than 70 years old. I expect there are iron pipes in the original plumbing, although my kitchen has been remodeled with whatever pipe material is in use now. A whole house filter isn't feasible, but I like to drink water, coffee, and tea; make pasta, soup, stews, etc. I've used various faucet filters, none of which were easy to install and remove, and lasted less than 3 months . I ended up back to the beginning with Brita pitchers. Not terribly convenient, as it takes extra time to refill them, and the filters need replacing every 2-3 months. A few years ago, I replaced my outdated kitchen faucet with one that has one handle and a pull-out spray, which 1) a faucet filter won't work; but 2 )left me an unused hole in the granite countertop. I added a bar faucet to the cold water line and this Waterdrop filter. (Actually, I hired a plumber.) The RF-15 has a recommended life of 2 years, or 16,500 gallons. I replaced it after 3 years. The water was still clear, didn't grow any mold sitting out in the dog's dish; neither of us got sick drinking it even though I used it 50% longer timewise than advised. But I am the only human living in my house. I pay the water bills. It would take me 20 years to use 16K gallons of water for everything - laundering clothes, and bed linens, showering, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, window cleaning inside and out, toilet flushing (including occasional houseguests guests and dinner guests for a week or two) some pressure washing, and outdoor plant watering. Occasional car washing. My monthly billed water cost is always the minimum,1CCF (748 gallons or less). This filter is only used on one cold water faucet in the kitchen - drinking and cooking, but not dishwashing. My way of excusing the fact that I used it for 3 years instead of the recommended 2. I'm not sick and the original filter was still giving me clean, odorless water. The price has dropped by 50% since I purchased the first one. So why did I take off a star? Because the case is made of heavy plastic. I don't know what the filter is made of, but the company advised me that none of it is recyclable. It goes into the landfill unless I can find some use for it. It's not completely sustainable, but I NEVER buy bottled water, and avoid food containers that are not glass if disposable. Plastic contributes more fossil fuel emissions than anything except diesel and gas-powered engines that are used to create, transport, fill, and transport again. After a heavy rain, I can see islands of them floating down the creek near my house. They are in the stomachs of all of us who eat animals and fish. If you use a string trimmer in your yard, the string is chopped into millions of invisible bits everywhere, ingested by deer, birds and other wildlife. I'll stop ranting now! Thank you for reading. Back to business: This undersink filter works great, is incredibly simple to install and remove, costs almost nothing per gallon for clean water, and makes much less 1000-year waste than other methods of getting clear, good-tasting and smell-less water for drinking and cooking.

Makes our tap water taste great
This was a replacement for the filter system we installed last year. Arrived quickly and easy to change the filter. I feel much better drinking our tap water and easier than using a canister filter. We installed this after the water dispenser in our refrigerator quit working. much cheaper than replacing the refrigerator.

Great Filter and does the job
I know they are pricey but my last one went 2 1/2 years. Not bad in considering the amount of purified water you get I like the brand and the filter took less than a minute to replace. Now it’s good for another few years.
