Higher quality than what I can get in my local hardware store

I ended up buying some 2.5 inch screws and by mistake they turned out to be Power Pros (they include the bit for the power screwdriver/drill in the box) .. I could not believe how excellent they were. Next when I needed 1.5 inch ones, I bought the same brand again - Easiest to work with because you can take them out as effortlessly as you put them in - other screws break or strip out - these have never done that to me!!!

It turned out to be 20 for any screw less than 2 1/2". The head is similar to my 25. Torx heads rule. But Amazon doesn't think it is important to tell customers what the number is. I ended up returning all of my hardware and visited the Home Depot store instead. Still not much luck there as the staff were all confused by my questions. I have been using an 8 x 2 1/2". Their stock at the time did not have any T-25s with #8 status. Instead all they had was with number 9. Which is a bit bigger Shorter screws were number 8 but after 2" they reverted to #9. Price was a bit better there but not free delivery on the screws I needed for some reason. These screws seemed to be fine but they arrived a day late so I elected to return all three purchases.

I was excited to receive the screws so I could finish my project. I opened the box and searched for the driver bit that was advertised as included but it was not in the box. I searched three times. This meant I had to find one, but that was also a disappointment because the screws still didn't sink properly. I ordered a countersink drill bit that worked like magic. Therefore, I can't give the product 5 stars. A day wasted and more money spent.

As you may be able to see we used these screws to secure these boxes for our bee hives. We wanted the sides to be very strong, and the finish of the screws is perfect for the color of the wood, and how we will eventually stain the wood. They have to be able to stand up to the weather and we believe these screws will make it outdoors for years to come.

Way better than anything I’ve bought at Home Depot, and better than the Lionmax. Easiest screws to work with.
