Works exactly as described with zero hassle. I only control these with Google Home so I have no experience with their native app.

I have found these do not like dlink wifi repeater in AP mode at all. With dlink it all looks like it is working and then the app comes up with error. Even when right next to wifi. Also they hang up if wifi signal I'd weak. I setup directly to Ubiquiti wifi and no issues. Then tried a netgear wifi repeater in AP mode and no problems. Be warned that weak wifi and some wireless access points have issues with these wifi rgb controllers. I'm using these on a black light mini golf upgrade to light up the edge of the underside corner bumper rails to have a cool lighting effect with the ultraviolet painted rails for each hole.

I wish they provided better information on Alexis integration. The lights work and it's nice and simple to setup and install

Needed a way to use the rest of an LED strip I had trimmed off another project. This controller added the app functionality needed and was easy to set up using the QR code on the device and following the prompts. The Magic Home app offers a bunch of features to make the LEDs react to audio and camera (although I’m a bit cautious using them since it’s a Chinese product lol. Plus, the constant color changes are annoying IMO). The added feature that interests me the most that I haven’t seen before is the “flame” setting that makes the LEDs dim randomly like a flame with some settings for speed and intensity. I’m putting a red glow behind a metal dragon sign and that feature is a perfect addon to the red glow I want.

Don't work properly if at allSloppy. Plugs don't fit sockets tightly. Don't work properly if at all. One out of 4 worked half attached, ultimately failing in only moments. Suggested software is very buggy. Maybe mine were defective. Trash in my opinion.

Like a lot of folks, I was getting tired of my fire stick remote changing the nearby LED colors. I purchased these to replace the old controllers and it’s working great. The setup was very simple and the app is functional. My changes apply instantly and I’ve had no issues so far. Very happy with the result

it stopped working. I can reset it and it will work for a short period of time and then it stops turning on again. If it does turn on it will not display 'blue' any longer until it is reset again. only happens to one of the units so far.
