This is a wonderful color stick if you don’t have very much gray to cover up. If you have a lot of gray to cover up, just stop being lazy and dye your hair! (I’m kidding. I am the worst at this.) but don’t let it get too long, or this stick will make your hair a little bit waxy— but it definitely works.

Easy to use and non damaging to hair . It tends to run possibly with perspiring ive found residue behind my ears when I didnt put it Not bothersome enough to not use it. Doesn't discolor my clothing. I usually bought it from a store which stop carrying it for some reason. Glad to have found it on amazon coat more than the retailer I bought it from though

The color was great. It matched my brown color well. What I did not love was that the package said the color would last till I shampoo it out, but that did not happen. The color comes out before the end of the day, so I am reapplying everyday between shampooing. I also had problems with covering gray hair in some areas where the color just could stick to the hair. This stick required me to wet the tip to apply the color, but my usual stick is already moist. This made the D&R color less sticky on my hair, and much less likely to come off on my pillow, or on my tee shirt when I pass it over my head, which was a plus.

Great product. Here's a suggestion for covering gray hair. First, you will notice that the product is very thick due to its wax content. This can make it difficult to control. But here's an inside secret used by professional make-up artists in the motion picture and television industry. Here's how to have complete control of the consistency of color. Simply apply one or two drops of Jojoba oil, olive oil or black castor oil (yes its clear) to the palm of your hand just below the base of your thumb. Then take a small dye brush that looks like a small tooth brush and rub the bristles in the oil to coat the bristles. Next, rub the brush back and forth on the color and then return the brush to your palm as you rub it on your palm. You will notice that the more oil you use in relation to the color will appear to be more shear in appearance. You can then apply that to the roots of your that have turned grey. If you need greater color coverage, simply rub your brush on the color and then rub the brush on your palm until the color consistency increases to the coverage level that you need. This product rubs off. It has no real staying power. You might’ve well use shoe polish. Products like these are popular right now, but the frustration of experiencing their lack of quality will soon phase them out. Sure, for a temporary one night look it could pass, but don’t put your fingers through your hair, you will end up with residue on your hands.

I use this stick in between trying my hair. I used it as a lipstick at the sides back and middle of the head. It covers grey hairs well and does not come off on your clothes. Good product.

This stick is quick and easy to use. It does its job. I have been using this for quite sometime, and is happy with the product.
