Fixed a P1777 Code
This 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer had a couple of warnings indicating an overheat in the CVT trans and reduced power. Each time they cleared up on their own. Then a Service Required message appeared that resulted in a P1777 code that indicated the CVT stepper motor wasn't acting right. Rather than sending the car to salvage, we took a chance and replaced this stepper motor and fresh CVT fluid (Eneos Eco CVT, J4 spec). After replacing this stepper motor, we did get a P1778 code initially and the CVT was holding in low gear ratio for our first drive around the block. Cleared P1778 and reset the fluid degradation status (aka adaptations). This car has a daily 2-hour round trip commute, and so far all is good for the first week.!

Code is for the replacement of this part
The gasket they sent me does not fit. And the part did not fix the problem. And also the harness was cracked. Don’t know if it’s just defective and don’t work from wherever it came from but he did not help
