Some difficulty installling
Changing out these filters has always been very easy. However, I had difficulty with installing this one.

Great price and provides refill auto delivery
Much less expensive than buying retail and you can sign up for auto delivery of replacement filter every 6 months! I love this because I never think about my filter and forget to replace it as often as recommended.

Worked as expected
Replacement filter for my Maytag side by side fridge and it worked as expected. I ran water thru the dispenser into 6-12 32 oz cups until it came clear. I don’t remember line air before but seemed to have quite a bit until I ran it a while. I didn’t soak the filter and seem to remember having to do that before but didn’t see clear directions here in needing to do that which is why I missed that step perhaps. Otherwise it works and water has zero taste like it’s supposed to!

WAAAY cheaper than the original.
We can't tell the difference in taste between these and the original GE filter. These are sure a LOT cheaper. They seem well constructed and fit perfectly. They last just as long as the GE filters.
