QubitsSTEM Construction Set - 100 Pieces: an Open Play Engineering and Building Toy (Alternative to Blocks)

Today I used the Qubits with students in 1st and 2nd grade. They absolutely loved using them to create various designs. It was an engaging way to discuss 2-D and 3-D designs. They enjoyed using them so much that after our class today, they asked when they would be able to use them again! Earlier in the week it was 4th and 5th graders who used them in an engineering design activity and wanted to know if they could use them next class. I’ve ordered more sets because they are so popular with students and easy to use.

These are great. At first we don’t know what to do with them. My husband is a designer and so am I and we have 4 kids (almost 7, almost 5, 3 and almost 1.5). We all sat down and messed with them for so long until we finally got the hang of how they work. It takes real brain power and creativity. Now my kids come up with the coolest things! Trains, bikes, gardens, etc. sometimes we combine them with our magna tiles to create elaborate cities. The fun is endless and so is the creativity involved!

Good but complex for my seven year old. She gets easily frustrated.

Just manufactured a new pen holder for my new office courtesy of Qubits!!..Color in the workplace is a good thing!.....great for creative mental breaks too!!.....A lot of fun for adults as it keeps those creative juices flowing!!! Highly recommended for all!!

Disappointed. There are no instruction or diagrams to help get a design going.

Six and 3 year old boys do not like these. Liked them when on display at an event. I purchased them, but the boys never build with them. They build with everything and anything but these.

I purchased these for my traditional kindergarten classroom and my 5 year old students love to create with them. I love that they give them open ended imaginative play opportunities. Thank you!

I have a 4 and 6 year old. These are not as fun as other building toys they have. They are hard to put together and the guide isn’t really helpful.
