Great glasses and purely the best blue light blocking glasses there are out there. They're inexpensive and fulfills its means. If you're looking for a pair of blue light glasses that works and is not a fashion-brand with half-assed lenses, look no further. I've been using these for approximately 2 weeks everyday since purchase to reduce headaches and eye strain while looking at monitors and I must say it works. I was quite skeptic about purchasing glasses such as these but was instantly happy with the results that is not inclined by wishful thinking. The build material is what you could expect for the price but are slightly still durable if you don't stretch, drop or meticulously strain the glasses itself. For users wanting to use these with headphones, I would recommend adjusting your headphones 2 or 3 sizes bigger so it doesn't push against your head. It sometimes does this creaking sound of the plastic when you stretch it a little bit too far but is to be expected. Needless to say, they are also quite fancy and I have personally received comments on how 'cool' or 'awesome' they look with the orange lenses. Everything is perceived in a orange-tint colored fashion and is also to be expected knowing its blue light blocking effect. Works very well for normal use on smartphones, computers or tablets. I would not recommend these for editorial software or entertainment such as watching movies or photo/video editing as it will distort your sense of colors, hence not to be used while using any design/edit software. However, I would strongly recommend these if you use this for normal activity on the computer such as internet-browsing, reading under various lights, writing documents and even playing games that are not graphic dependent (such as single-player games or atmospheric games). If I had bad eyesight I would even recommend the pair that you put on your current glasses as it would pose to be a very helpful tool in your everyday life, knowing that we are affected by 'blue light' from all kinds of sources. 5/5 stars and would purchase again or recommend to friends and family. I just received my glasses and put them through two stress test. First, I'd like to say they surpassed my expectations of blocking blue light. One test was with my reef aquarium growing Radion XR15w PRO full spectrum LED light fixture. It includes 4x CREE blue, 4x OSRAM deep blue, 4x CREE cool white and 9 other led lights with colors ranging from green to indigo UV. By testing the full wattage of blue, deep blue and indigo UV, these glasses filtered out almost all, if not all, blue light. Very impressive. From photos provided, one shot is from iPhone 6s' new 12mp camera (no filter) pointing straight-on aquarium. Very blue. The other aquarium shot is with the Swannies' lens upclose and covering camera while taking the picture. No blue. This light fixture setting is to provide maximum "morning" sun output for high coral growth. The second test involved shining a 200 lumen LED flashlight directly at the glasses lens to question it's blue light blocking abilities. It reflected all blue and blue related light to the wall (see photo). I tested my $200 UV protecting Ray Ban P's and you can see the results were not close. Im a person on the computer for proposal creation, PC gaming (intense graphics-- CounterStrike and WoW), creating marketing material on Photoshop and ESPN reading coupled with a Sony XBR Ultra HD TV watching Inside Out, and the likes, with my wife and little boys. Don't forget about last minute catching up with Instagram, FB, last minute fantasy football lineups and the 10 o'clock news while in bed. My life is usually in the fast lane, like many others, and my sleep is very important, especially for someone who uses a Cpap machine for sleep apnea. Having the amber lenses on these glasses provides the protection I need without losing visual brightness. I did not like the normal yellow blue blocking glasses as they did not provide much blue blocking. After testing these glasses I feel reassured that my body will start producing melotonnin at regular levels and hopefully they'll take care of my headaches as well. From what I gathered so far I give these glasses a very big two thumbs up for blue blocking abilities, without hindering visual, and and a plus for style. Sleep is vital and worth the cost of these glasses. I have no affiliation with this company and I did pay full price. I'm just a concerning parent adjusting to the new ways of life while technology tries to fix this new growing problem.

I have been searching for the right pair of blue light blocking glasses for years. I just received my Swannies, and I think the search ends here. You can see the different brands of glasses I own in the photo. Pictured from top to bottom are Gamma Ray, Gunnar Intercept, Uvex Skyper, and Swannies. Not pictured is another brand I reviewed and returned because of the bad glare. All my previous purchases fell short in one way or another. Some felt flimsy or did not block enough blue, while others were uncomfortable or caused a blue reflection when looking at a light source. One of them has a slight magnification (standard for this style), which I think worsened my vision. The Swannies do what they're supposed to, and they do it well. Sturdy, quality frame, true blue light blocking lens, no annoying reflections or glare, comfortable fit. These are the things I look for in a pair of blue blockers, and you would be surprised how many brands fail to meet these criteria. Do your eyes a favor and invest in a pair of Swannies. After getting many different brands at different price points, I think I know a thing or two about what to expect from anti-blue glasses. My order was sold by Swanwick Sleep and fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon's fulfillment center overlooked a small issue, and the seller immediately stepped in and remedied the situation. So, not only are you getting a quality product, you know you're also getting stellar customer service. Look no further.

I teetered back and forth on ordering these- would they work? Would they look ridiculous? Will I actually use them? I’ll start with -They don’t look completely ridiculous, the yellow lenses aren’t awesome with my pale complexion but the black frames are stylish enough to negate that. Out of the box, they are absolutely straight and flat with no curve to the lenses or the frame which explains why there are instructions to get them fitted. The fit on me could benefit from a bit of curve. They’re not uncomfortable but they do slide down my narrow nose after a while. I can’t tell how they’re working on my sleep yet as it’s only been a few days and, of course, I keep forgetting to put them on regularly. They definitely keep my eyes from getting tired- I didn’t even realize how fatigued my eyes were getting until I started using these. Looking at an amber-tinted world is taking a bit of adjusting to. I find that they make it difficult to identify highlighting and to differentiate colors on my screen. I dont remember seeing any reviews that mentioned this so I wasn’t expecting it. I mostly deal with spreadsheets but, there are times where color is required. I just peek around them as necessary. It’s not a big deal to me but, anyone who works primarily with color might find these a hindrance. Overall I’m happy with them. They work to ease my eyes, look geeky-chic (or at least way better than the safety lenses) and I will wear them when I remember to. When/if I start to notice sleep improvement, I’ll update my review

Upon receiving my glasses, I put them on immediately! They fit me like they were molded for my face (regular size)! I sit at the computer all day at home and my eyes were beginning to hurt from the eye strain and even became blurry at times. I've had the glasses for about a week now. Let me tell you about my first night with them.......my husband and I do a lot of computer gaming. The first time I put them on, my eyes did a snoopy dance! No more strain, no more blurry, no more issues at all! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these glasses! Not sure how I lived without them to be honest! I had NO idea that blue light was stealing my melatonin and making it difficult to go to sleep. Now I know! I wore them for approximately 2 hours the first night. It was around 11:30pm when I sat down at the computer. By the end of hour one, I was actually getting drowsy (which never happens!). I thought to myself, this is just a coincidence. But I have to tell you, THE VERY FIRST NIGHT, I had the BEST EVER sleep of my life! I am not kidding or exaggerating. I slept like a log. You stated that it might take up to a week to get the benefits from wearing the glasses. Nope, not for me, it took ONE day to rock me into gentle sleep. No eye strain whatsoever anymore and each night, I sleep as if I were 5 years old again! These amber glasses have literally changed my life. Thank you for making such an awesome product! I can't find any negative issues with the glasses, but if I had to say something, it would be that the amber color changes some of the colors in my games! That was the only thing I didn't like, but I've gotten used to the colors now. I know that the amber color is the way to go to block out almost 100% of the blue light. Again, I adore these glasses and wear them almost all the time....in the sun, at the computer, in the kitchen where I have fluorescent and LED lighting. Love your product, love your company, love your customer service!

First, before I bought them, I did research on the claims about sleep. This link would be worth reading for those interested: [...] That said, I've been using these for 2 days now. I deal with computers with over 12 hours a day, and it does take me a while to get to sleep - in the last 2 days, I've noted that I've had less trouble. I've also noticed less eye irritation over the course of the day. Truth be told, I'd probably do better if I simply didn't work with computers, but we all have to do what we have to. The construction is solid. I've bought cheaper pairs - one I leave at work - where when cleaning a pair, you can feel the lens clicking in the frame - a fragility that I don't want (and you probably shouldn't) from $15 pairs of blue blocking glasses. This pair I have doesn't click, and feels much more solid when taking the smudges off. The overall presentation when receiving it is a bit impressive - the box, the case, etc. And the email from the company makes it feel like you're actually doing business with someone who cares about what they're doing - so as little an investment that is for Swanwick Sleep to do, they seem to want to have a relationship with their customers rather than sell and forget. In this day and age, that is refreshing. I'd recommend buying these over any of the cheap ones out there, and supporting a company that seems to have a sincere desire to communicate with it's customers is something I'd encourage. It's not something new - it's something that shouldn't be old.

I was looking for serious blue-light protection for my eyes, and the FDA approval of the product convinced me. After having bought UVEX SCT ORANGE S-1933X on this website, I realised you can get the same 98% blue-light blockage without paying so much. These glasses are much cheaper; however, they look like engineering glasses, for working in a factory. The UVEX are just $11.07 dollars! I have been ripped off. Swanwick: Your business would do better if you cared more about customers and not only about yourselves. I should have never paid a so excessive price for what I was looking for. I use my Swannies only in public. Whenever I am home I use my Uvex, and bought a 3x-pack for a fraction of the cost. Have them bought here on this website. The Swannies are good quality, however. You don't look odd with them, and the quality is fine. My concern is about its excessive price. It needn't cost so much. But because I use the glasses everyday, for durability matters, I use my Uvex whenever possible. Because they are actually goggles, they leave a slight mark on my face after use, which dissappears in some minutes. If you are concerned about eye-protection only, and don't care much about if it looks well on you, you should have a glance at the Uvex goggles advertised on this website. I even contacted them throught their site, and replied shortly with a detailed brochure of the blue-light protection (including a graph measuring wavelenghts (nm) and transmittance (%). Besides, the goggles offer 100% UVA/UVB protection, which the Swannies simply don't. Regards from Mexico.

Swanwick sleep provided excellent service. I had a problem with my order (my fault), the customer service team (especially Melanie) promptly sorted out the problem, no questions asked and handled everything at no expense to me. Product is great, comfortable to wear all night, makes me look cool at 3am in my PJ’s :) and blocks out blue light as promised. Blue colours still actually look blue, just a different shade. I do a lot of late night ipad/phone/laptop work and these glasses are perfect. Thanks a lot Swanwick team.

Livraison parfaite, beau packaging. Je déteste porter des lunettes mais je dois dire que celle-ci me font du bien. Pour être honnête ce n'est pas toujours agréable de devoir les enlever surtout quand on travail sur des photos (car le filtre jaune fausse la perception des couleurs), sinon c'est parfait pour éviter une trop grosse fatigue des yeux. Le look est dégueulasse, on dirait Obispo dans les années 90 ou le chanteur de U2 à la même époque, mais dans un cadre privé/pro cela fait le job.

If you cannot avoid working at your computer or with other unnatural light sources, especially before going to bed, this is the ultimate cure of any fatigue you might experience due to a disturbed sleep pattern. I am convinced of its effects and the way the world looks through these glasses might also improve your mood.

So far so good - after I ended up in A&E with Episcleritis (severe/persistent redness in the white part of the eye) without conclusive cause of the condition, I started to look into causes of eye strain in general... and blue light blocking came to my attention, since I was binge-watching movies 3-4 hours in bed on my mobile device every now and then, prior to ending up in A&E. So far something like 4 days of wearing Swannies at all times when I am at computer, and not using mobile devices in bed, I cannot quantify how much it has been helping, but I do certainly notice it is gentler to the eyes and the eyes are less strained. I have prescription glasses (13cm width), and Swannies which has a 14cm width sits perfectly on top. I am wearing two pairs of glasses on top of each other but it feels very light and I hardly notice now. Obviously I am planning to wear Swannies with contact lens eventually once my eye is treated. There are cheaper options, but I'm happy with what I paid for - I like the quality of the goods - superlight frame with decent spring mechanism. Style-wise it's very sleek - overall very good in terms of functionality and style. PS: I just wanted to add that Swanwick does "fitover" range, specifically fitting over the prescription glasses. In my case the standard Swanwick fits because my frame is smaller than average frames.

長時間画面を見つめる仕事に長年従事してきましたが、ここ最近になって視野が欠ける・暗順応が遅い・ピントがあいにくいなどの諸症状が出て、病院で厄介な眼病の診断がつきました。 それでも仕事ですので画面を見つめないわけにはいきません。休憩を取りながらだましだまし仕事を進めていましたが、作業の後には症状が重くなって困ってました。 以前は国産の大衆メーカーのブルーライトカットメガネを使っていましたが、この商品はレベルが違います。 写真は手前がもともと使っていたブルーライトカットメガネ（古くてすみません）。奥がこの商品です。 レンズの色の濃さも全く違いますが、レンズに映る照明の反射具合を見るといかにこの商品が青い光を跳ね返すかが一目瞭然です。 実際に使ってみましたが、目の疲れも段違いに軽減されました。 代わりに、以下のような問題点が生まれます。 ・装着時の見た目が普通のメガネとかけ離れている（私は在宅ワークなので問題になりませんでした） ・装着時、オレンジの世界になる ・白はオレンジに見えます。 ・青と緑は区別がつかなくなります。 ・黒地に青の文字はほとんど見えなくなります。 そうはいっても目の健康には替えられません。この先、画面を見つめるときは常にこの眼鏡を着用すると思います。 価格も高いですが、高くてもいいので質のよいものを探していました。大変満足です。
