Precise Heat Cookware Waterless Stockpot with Deep Steamer Basket, 24 quarts, Silver

The pot is made of very heavy and very well finished stainless steel.I feel that the photos in advertisement are misleading (deceitful?) since the inner tray is not at all as shown. Except for that, I would give the pot 5 stars. I feel that seller should be very careful to show items as they really are. Ralph

I used this pot last weekend to make chicken bone broth. I simmered the soup for 18 hours, and this pot held the heat beautifully. This is a heavy pot, and very large. I had to clean it in the laundry sink because it wouldn't fit under my faucet in the kitchen. I ended up canning 11 quarts of broth, with about a pint left over - and that is after taking out all the chicken and vegetables! I really like this pot - it is a work horse, for sure. And it cleaned up beautifully, all nice and shiny again. It won't be my everyday pot, but I am happy it is in my arsenal. I'm not sure how to use the lever in the lid. I know that when I had it open, the pot "whistled" like a tea pot. So I kept it closed to hold in the moisture for simmering. If you are a serious soup-maker, this is the pot for you. I can highly recommend it. I didn't use the steamer basket, so I cannot comment on that. I bought the pot for soup, not steaming.

I ordered this stockpot and it came the next day, it was beautiful and perfect for my purpose for steaming seafood. However, the steaming basket was the wrong size, it's too small and falls right into the bottom, and it's only a few inches deep, not like the basket shown in the picture. I called Amazon about the problem, the only thing they could advise is to have me return the whole thing (pot plus the basket) and asked for a replacement, they said they wouldn't be able to find anyone I could talk to, I told them if I asked for the replacement I will most likely get the same wrong product again but customer service ( I think they are in India) insisted on having me drop off the product to UPS. So I did, and sure enough today I got the same thing, now I have to return it and get the refund since it's a waste of time and resource for both sides. What a shame, it was a beautiful stockpot, I wish sometimes people can look into the process and fix the problem rather than just following the instructions. I shop at Amazon so much so I hope someone can see this note, apparently the note I left in the return package was ignored.

This pot is HUGE and made well. The waterless feature is great. Have bought more as gifts.

Steaming basket is about 4 inches deep as pictured. highly polished stainless steel and much thicker than the average pot made today. Should hold up for a lifetime.

Yes, the above comment is very true. I received my stock pot yesterday and the steaming basket is not the same as shown in the picture. It looks like the one that is shown in the picture for the 30 quart one. I did see some instruction pamplets that came along with the stock pot. I'm going to see if there is any number that I can call. If i find one, will come back and update the post. Otherwise, this is a very sturdy stock pot compared to the branded stock pots for which you pay lots of money!
