Skyline ChiliOriginal Chili, 15 oz

Nothing will beat having a 4-way at the actual restaurant, but when you live 8+ hours away from a Skyline, this does the trick! This makes for such a quick and easy meal any night of the week.Don't know what Skyline Chili is...set ALL your chili ideas aside. This is NOT a chili like Wendy's chili or an eat-by-itself chili. This chili has hints of cinnamon with very finely ground beef. This chili is the texture of spaghetti sauce and that's a little like how it functions in the scheme of Cincinnati Chilis. Scared of trying it on spaghetti? Try it on a hot-dog, coney style. Or make their dip (recipe on the label - who can go wrong with cream cheese, cheese, and chili?!).Tips for getting a more restaurant-like feel.I find that it helps make it feel more like I'm at the restaurant if I get a fine shredded cheese.Another note, if you like the 4-way with onion, I keep some chopped up onion in the freezer just for this purpose. Take out what you think you will need when you start cooking and the onions will be thaw by the time the meal is ready!

A warning for the uninitiated: this is not typical Chili. Of course, if you're willing to pay this price for a can, you're probably doing it because you lived in Cincinnati at some point and miss Skyline (and you know exactly what you're getting). If you've never had Skyline before I wouldn't recommend you experience it for the first time this way.

Was so happy to see this available in Amazon Fresh. I am a Cincinnati native. Grew up on Skyline. Nice for a quick go to 4way with onions. Do it right and use a Louisiana hot sauce with it. Crystal or Franks.

2020 was a bleak year, finding that Fresh has Skyline really made me believe 2021 would be better. This is really the highlight of the year. If you're not from Cincinnati, you may not care for it, but I grew up on it and I could eat it every day for a year and never grow tired.

I ordered 2 cans of Skyline and when i opened both cans it looked disgusting .....it was big balls of this orange grease floating on top and the juice and meat looked gray ...it looked horrible and i'm mad i didn't take pictures of it i was so disgusted i poured both can down the drain without thinking to snap a few photos of it....never again.

Thin, watery and tasted like seasoned vomit nastiness. Truly disappointing and disgusting.

Ok so there wasn’t a problem with the chili. We just don’t like the flavor. It’s not the cans fault or the sellers fault. We just think it’s too runny and not for us. Sorry to anyone I have offended. My personal opinion only. I wish it was for us. We so wanted to like it.Why we didn’t like it. Too sweet. I don’t like sweet, I like savory.Hope this helps.Shipper shipped fast, and convenient.
