this backing has held up to it’s promise, withstanding some big runs from good sized Queenfish and even a big Cobia, definitely worth its low cost

Great backing. Easy to tie clean, tight knots (double overhand knot shown in picture) with great hold. The plastic spool broke in shipping. Although it did not affect spooling the fly reel, a more pliable plastic spool that holds up during shipping would be better.
