Would you get the large for a puppy (goldendoodle)? Or start with the small one?

It sizes down pretty small! you could probably get the large or medium & it would work with all the fur!

I don’t see a neoprene handle. It looks like a nylon webbing to go around your wrist. Pictures do not show the handle grip. For large dog?

I got this for my large dog & I don’t recommend for large dogs. He ripped it first time I used it to walk him. My dog is too strong for this leash. I didn’t think it was made very durable for a Carhartt leash.
