Quality made rug
My daughter moved into a new apartment and now we're getting all of the fun accessories that she needs. Her bedroom is much larger than her last one and she needed a rug in it. Buying rugs always seems to be a pain trying to find the exact right size and especially the right color. But we lucked out because her roommate already had this exact same rug from Ophanie. My daughter liked it and the price was perfect, so I figured Win, Win for me. I was worried when it arrived because the box was small and I thought 'Oh man, did I screw up and order too small of a rug.' Nope!! I got the right one. I was shocked at how big of a rug came out of such a small box. Once I pulled it out and unfolded it, all I had to do was shake it out to fluff it and like magic it was ready to go. It is so soft and feels great on your feet. The best part is that it hasn't shed at all!! The grip on the bottom of the rug works really well and keeps it stuck down to the floor. This is a high quality rug that is very well made. I'd definitely buy it again.

You get what you pay
So basically it's not as thick as I had thought, but couldn't complain given the price is minimal.

Inconsistent product
These rugs are super soft. Not so easy to clean because of the amount of shag, but not impossible to clean. I ordered two rugs for each side of my bed. One is super thick and has a cushioned base. The other one (same product!) is thin and not cushioned. I wish they were both like the cushioned one. I’m still debating whether I should send the one back and order another one.

Super Soft and feels wonderful
I was a little apprehensive when I first opened the package of the Ophanie Machine Washable 3 x 5 Feet Rugs for Bedroom, Fluffy Shaggy, etc. because the rug was so soft. I was afraid I would slip on it, BUT to my surprise it was not slippery, just really soft. I love it. If I can figure out another place to put one, I'll buy a second one. I love the way it feels when I walk on it. I haven't washed it, yet, so I can't comment on that, but it should be machine washable. I'm going to hope for a good outcome. Very pleased with the rug.

Very soft but too expensive for what you get.
These are incredibly soft when you get them, but even one wash reduced the appealing fluff to more of a matted dog look than a plush and pampered pet. They (I bought two) were intended to be a nice soft layer over two of my dog's Coolaroo beds to reduce the chill in winter, but they aren't even as thick as a summer-weight blanket and one of my dogs already ate hers!!! (They only weigh a few ounces and feel nothing like a rug.) If I had paid a few dollars for these I wouldn't have considered it quite such a loss to have it destroyed almost immediately, but for almost $25 it was a heavy loss. I would have been better off to just buy a yard of faux fur for the job. These might work well enough in a space where no one walks (just for looks) or on a chair or sofa as a snuggle layer, but as a rug (especially if you have dogs) they aren't in any way worth the price.EDITED to say that even though I am a Vine Voice member, this was not a free or promotional item. I paid for these rugs myself.

Not Machine Washable
If you just want to throw this rug on the floor for a couple days for “looks,” it’s okay. But it definitely isn’t a practical, machine washable rug. I bought two for each side of our bed so we wouldn’t have to step out on the wood floor. It’s not plush but it is soft, although very thin. I like the color. And the length was perfect for bedside. I washed one to see how it would look afterwards…Absolutely awful. I washed on delicate and tumble dried on low. Maybe it would turn out better if it was air dried? The pic that shows two rugs has the unwashed one on the right. It’s clear that these rugs aren’t machine washable. The backing draws up and it simply will not lay flat again. Nor does it have the original soft look. After 4 weeks it still won’t lay flat so into the garbage it goes. For about $20 a rug, I’m not out much money obviously, but it’s still disappointing.

It does slide around a little on hardwood floors.
I bought this for my rv. It fluffy right up when you shake it out. For the price its awesome. I really like that you can throw it in the washer altho I haven't washed it yet to know how it comes out .

The rug is beautiful and light in weight
I put the rug in my living room and was very happy with color and overall appearance of the rug. I also went back and ordered the 2 smaller sizes for same room! Very pleased!
