Easy to set up and configure - step by step instructions very straight forward.Works very well - does exactly what you would expect, skipping rain days automatically.Solar panel keeps the battery charged - not had to think about it at all.Had some trouble fitting to my tap but support replied promptly, recommended a solution and even paid for the additional adapter!! All working fine now.Only lost a star as the Alexa integration is not great - need to update the skill

Grass and plants getting water when they need it, leaving me to enjoy the garden and gardening.Had a small problem with the first Netro and company immediately agreed to replace it after brief discussion. Second one works a treat and now very much part of our garden landscape.Grass has never looked as good and our new plants are flourishing.Thoroughly recommended

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the Netro Pixie and two Netro Whisperers in April 2021- within a year all three devices had died.To set the story, my garden is based in the UK, south facing and two of the three devices were in unshaded locations. One device was in the shade but received a couple of hours of sun and if the battery ran out of power, I was happy to move back into the sun to top it up.During the first UK autumn and subsequent winter the first whisperer died. There is no external method to charge the device and the Netro support suggested I leave it under a halogen light, which considering all my lights (like most lights in 2021/22) are LED, isn’t really economical or sensible.I moved it to the back garden and tried to charge it from the sun for two months. It never even got to the red low battery warning.Next the 2nd Whisperer died. This one was south facing, unshaded and in the best sun light a UK winter will allow – don’t know what happened. Stuck on red LED for about a month.Finally, the Pixie facet died; this was in the direct sun. The last recording on the device in Feb was that it had 63% battery.Thinking perhaps the battery needed charging, I removed the removable battery only to find the housing of the Pixie was flooded.So in under a year all three devices had died.I returned them all to Amazon for a refund. I didn’t find the Netro support that helpful.Putting the device failure to one side, the app is slick, the information useful and the concept is a good. It’s a shame the devices don’t live up to those lofty ambitions.The Pixie (which this review is for) promises a lot, but is slow to operate (as it goes into a sleep state) and reports that it had conducted a watering, when it wasn’t working or even installed on the mains?!Such a shame really but with such failures in a under a year, I can’t recommend these devices – they don’t seem to have been tested in real world environments.

A few months in it stopped working… turns out it filled itself up with water…
