The xbox will use less than 200 watts so my guess is yes.

What specification cigarette socket does the 500W pure sine inverter need? Fuse size, cable thickness?

The cigarette lighter plug supplied with the unit has a label attached cautioning the user that the load should not exceed 150W. If we assume that is 150W continuous with an allowance for a (small!) startup surge as any inductive loads energise, you're looking at a 20A slow blow fuse on a 12v circuit (you cold go with 15A, but that doesn't allow very much leeway). Cable thickness is harder to answer. As a rule of thumb, a current density below 5A/mm2 would demand 4mm2 cables as a bare minimum. For longer cable runs from your battery to the socket, about 1mm2 per metre of total cable length (that is, 0.5m out and 0.5m back) should keep your voltage drop to somewhere around 3% (of 12V at 20A). I suggest you check those numbers for yourself, though, because I am *not* a qualified electrician, and there may be environment/installation conditions or regulations which dictate different assumptions.
