Fun lil' guy - Worth the money
TL;DRPros -+ Great build and color (blue anodized)+ Normal size bearing means easy swap out+ It is very well balanced and has no issues with vibrations (assuming your throw is straight)+ Good response pads+ Comes with a narrow bearing installed and wide bearing for unresponsive play+ WeightyCons -+ Wide bearing is a bit noisy and has some vibe+ Glossy finish is not the best for doing grinds (it's little so it won't spin for much anyway)+ You won't want to put it down ;)- Thoughts:Overall this is a good yoyo. Definitely not recommended for a beginner, but perfect for an intermediate to advanced player who wants an easy-to-carry throw. The yoyo is well made. The blue color way looks very handsome but the finish is too glossy to do any grinds with. The wide bearing it came with was quite noisy and had some vibrations to it. I swapped mine out with a Buddha bearing and it plays like a rock star now, super smooth. This yoyo is LITTLE (3/4 size), so don't expect really long sleep times, it also isn't as stable as a larger yoyo. That being said, it's great for quick combos and practicing string trick accuracy. It's quite weighty for such a little yoyo, but that is a good thing, it feels substantial and I'm sure it helps this lil' guy spin longer.- All-in-all I would definitely buy this again. I wish it came in more color ways, would be cool to swap halves for a unique look.

Nice, Small, Versatile Yoyo.
This is a neat little yoyo. For the price, it's very worth it. The machining is nice, I like the shape and size, the finish looks great, just overall great craftsmanship. Not to mention it comes with two bearing, one for responsive play (equipped as stock), and the other is a Center Trac bearing for unresponsive play, which I use. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was an actual Center Trac bearing, considering those are normally half the total price of this yoyo, alone. So brownie points for that! And then you also get a few strings and even an extra set of silicone response pads. They really hook you up with this product. Also, the packaging is even pretty nice. This yoyo plays really light, as expected from an undersized yoyo. This is not an issue because I still get a decent spin time and can complete any trick and combo I know so far with it.Playing with an undersized yoyo creates good habits. Period. It requires more accuracy to land tricks with it. It requires better string alignment when doing tricks such as Mach 5, Pop N' Fresh, or Boingy-Boing. You will improve by using a smaller yoyo. The only con I can really give is that the string I got with it isn't the best. The twists in it aren't very consistent and it had a few looser areas, but it could have been a 1-off, and I got the bad one, I don't know. This isn't a big deal to me, because I have a ton of strings, plus I make my own strings, and I rarely use strings that come with yoyos because I'm use to certain types. This is not enough for me to drop my rating, I really enjoy this yoyo.So there you have it. Extremely versatile yoyo for a good price. Get one.

A clear contender as an undersized yoyo.
The obvious question is what is up with the DR. Smalls VS the Popstar.....They are almost EXACTLY the same is what is up. Some minor design changes that are only observable when the yoyos are right next to each other. They play exactly the same way there are a couple differences that might swing your choice depending on your level of involvement, but with both at $20 those differences are the only ones that matter. If the popstar and the Dr. Smalls were released as different versions of the same yoyo, hardly anyone would know the difference if at all.Popstar differences: Center track bearing, Satin Finish.....The Popstar is the obvious choice for experienced players, slightly better bearing and better finish for doing grinds.....But that is about it.Dr. Smalls differences: Slim bearing, and normal flat C sized bearing. The Dr. Smalls is missing the satin finish and its non responsive bearing is a flat bearing. The flat bearing is still very well tuned and has a great long spin time. I think you have to be playing a long time to notice the difference between this bearing and a center track. So some minor differences there. The Popstar looks like the obvious better yoyo for the price, but here is the catch......ONLY if you are Already an experienced player who wants to play unresponsive.......There is not to my knowledge a single undersized RESPONSIVE yoyo that you can upgrade to unresponsive play out of the box, besides the Dr. Smalls. So Undersized for new players or undersized for people who WANT to play responsive play? This is THE yoyo to do it. No other undersized yoyo out there (again that I know of) has such a high performance design that is up gradable out of the box for responsive or unresponsive play...Now again if you are experienced and have a bunch of half spec bearings laying around you can tune down your popstar, no problem. I am just pointing out that for some people this yoyo coming with it all out of the box is probably a better choice for them. At the end of the day they are still SUPER similar yoyos. I really wonder who got their idea from whom at this point because these things are really that similar. Both good, for 20 bones, get both. Undersized yoyos are awesome and I love that there are more of them out there, even if these two are terribly similar, hahahahah

Small yoyo, great fun!
This is definitely a different little sucker. Slightly smaller than a dare-to-do, lighter, and very fast. This yoyo will definitely test your string landing. There is an unfortunate problem that most of these mini yoyos suffer from which is the weight. Unfortunately the lightness dials down the spin time and with no weight rings it will not maintain spin through your trickier combos. The yoyo looks great and if you want a giggle tossing around a tiny yoyo, it's a blast, but if you want some technical ability and spin you'll want a dare-to-do.For the price though it's a great yoyo.😎👍
