Melissa & Doug Mess-Free Glitter – Christmas Ornaments

This set comes with 6 foam ornaments, 6 ribbons for hanging, 3 small glitter sheets, and 3 large glitter sheets.A plus is that it's mess free and there isn't a glittery mess.My kids had fun making these ornaments and I will order again for next year. This is an excellent product! So much easier than using glue & glitter (and MUCH easier to clean up)!! This is much easier for older children (6+) to use but younger (3-5) can enjoy this very much with just a little bit of help! As some other customers have noted, sometimes getting the glitter to adhere is a little tricky. I recommend using something such as a small Popsicle stick or we even used an ink pen to help smooth the glitter to the sticky surface. Just rubbing the glitter sheet with your finger doesn't seem to work quite as well. Also, in order to ensure we had plenty of glitter we put the shapes as close together as possible & if there were holes in the glittered we used the small pieces of glitter from other shapes to go over it a second time, which worked great. This was an excellent product for a reasonable price & the children (15 mos., 4, & 6) loved it! My only complaint is that I felt all of the glitter sheets should have been the same size and that black wasn't included (for Santa's boots/belt). Overall, 5 stars!

My 20 month old had a blast once I peeled off stickers as we needed to expose the stickiness and then she could place it on the glitter paper. She had a blast really decorating ornaments, but Melissa and Doug really went cheap on the glitter paper because there’s just not enough of the traditional color colors in order to properly be able to cover all six of the ornaments. We covered 4 without a problem. I get you shouldn’t start by sticking in the morning and in the middle of a piece of paper you want to start at the edge but for example if you want white to equally be spread over the snowman you’re going to play some holistic Lee across the paper so you don’t have to constantly pull him off the paper creating cracks in the glitter. Overall great but needs larger green, white and red sheets.

Ugh I cannot explain how much we LOVED these!!! They were so super easy, they turned out so super cute, and although I was just sure we would run out of glitter, we had so much extra. I really may purchase more packs to create more! Between my three kids, ages 2,5, and 8, they each chose two ornaments and did them on their own. You just peel one area at a time and push the glitter sheet. It is mess free other than the pieces you peel and they are PERFECT! I seriously love them up on the tree and making them was such a good Tim for everyone!! Buy these, y'all!!

My 4 year old niece had such a great time decorating these ornaments. It was simple enough for her to do as one simply peels off the stickers forming the design to be decorated and apply a glitter sheet to the area where the sticker was removed and presses down. I would recommend have a small trash bag on hand.

This is a great small craft for holiday travel. it's all contained and fairly mess free (just little scraps of paper need collected / picked up). We did these on airplanes and in hotel rooms during our latest family trip. Kept kids busy and engaged when they needed downtime. Each ornament took just 5-10 minutes and that was the perfect amount of time / exertion for tired kids to do solo. I didn't need to help my 6yo or 9yo at all.

Wow! Impressive design and concept - took me a few minutes to understand how to do it. You peel the film off the ornament to expose the sticky portion, then peel the glitter from it's film and put it on. Great craft for my 4 year old and I to do together. She was too young to do it alone but the age is 5+ on it. Kept her entertained for quite awhile, much more so than the stained glass ornaments that M&D make. They look so pretty that we are buying a second one so she can make them for relatives.

This was easy, fun and mess free. I loved the ease of it, kids enjoyed being able to do it on their own!

Abaolutely mess free, glitters stay very well, easy to use, my 4 year old loves it, very happy to spend some quality time with him

These are wonderful Christmas crafts. I did them with my sons scout group. And all the kids loved doing them. You get the joy of glitter without the crazy mess of glitter. It is a fantastic idea

Great craft to get you in the Christmas spirit! My 3 year old was too young to do this, but could see this being great for school aged kids.
