Wow, I am surprised I am getting results like I am. My plants really like this light. The timer is a nice feature. For me, I decided to dig up some of my catnip, chives, and cilantro this fall and try to keep them over winter in my basement. It stays cool (approx.55 degrees) in the winter. They are cool weather plants so I set up this light and they immediately perked up. They are growing fantastic. I was not expecting that but so pleasantly surprised at the job this light does that I am going to expand and buy more. Price is right, works great, and energy efficient with timer. This is not big but I have 5 pots of plants under it.

Won't buy again. This is very small light measuring only 14 inches X 5 inches. The hanging chain is not adjustable and can't be raised as the plants grow. It's single center suspension makes it impossible to keep it oriented to the plants. When used with a timer it fails to come on and must be turned on manually each morning and the lighting level re-set. We have plantings growing under under 2 compact fluorescent grow lights that are doing very well. Plantings under this light are not. If you can find them, opt for the compact florescent type.

The light was bright enough but cheaply made. The plug that connects directly to the lights is not connected tightly. So ridiculous. Anyway very easy to disconnect. This was my second one. At first I thought I was careless. The cord is too short. I hang my light higher than cord so an extension cord is need. The weight of a light extension cord breaks the connection to the lights because it’s to heavy. So when I bought the second one I was more careful. Nope. It broke again after 3 months. I don’t care how inexpensive it is. A total waste of money.

Only lasted 1 1/2 months. DC Connector port broke off from unit, no power alternative. Can no longer use it.Waste of money, return window closed. Waiting to see if seller will provide any resolution to this issue.

My plants and I are ready for winter! Brightens up an otherwise dark corner in my living room, and the best part...I couldn't get my Birkin to give me ANY new growth the entire summer, but a few weeks under this light and BOOM! One full new leaf and 2 more coming up behind it! I did purchase a little chain extender to get it closer to these guys, glad I did!

This light managed to keep part of my houseplant collection alive and happy this winter. In MI there's only an average of 170 sunny days each year and winters can be so grey and tough for some plants to thrive. The light is bright but not annoying, its been in my family room for a few weeks and then I moved it into a storage room dubbed "the plant room"All other grow lights I've purchased have been the type to screw into existing fixtures. I will definitely get another when its time to replace a bulb fixture.

The good - This light works so well I bought a 2nd one! The bad - They break easily. ☹ On one I unplugged the cord from the unit and the soldered connection broke loose, then the other just won't turn on when I plugged it in to a new spot. Both worked really well for a couple months until I went to move them. Loved these, but disappointed they both broke so easily.
