Great alternative to downing pills
Powders are an economical way of meeting my daily magnesium goals of 400 to 800 mg per day.

Taste is horrid, but good product
I should’ve read all the other reviews before I tried to drink this in some water. It is so gross! Like a taste that just does not go away. Other than that, it seems to be a good product, at a fair price. But wow, I definitely recommend drinking it down with some pomegranate juice or something strong. You have been warned.

Sabe horrible

DIY electrolyte powder base
I've been attempting to stay better hydrated beyond coffee and juice, I've really cut down on the soda as I've gotten older, now in early 40s.I dislike most of the flavors out there for sports or electrolyte drinks and powders. The premade stuff, you are paying for mostly water as well. Decided to attempt to make my own mixture, using magnesium glycinate since the gentlest on tummy. Used Jorge Cruise recipe, but not include the glycine since this isn't for weight loss or appetite suppressant.Recipe is 1/2tsp sea salt, 1/8th tsp potassium chloride, and 1/16th tsp magnesium glycinate. Did not measure, but roughly 1/2tsp sugar and couple scoops of dragonfruit powder. I also ordered mango powder and goji berry. It was interesting let's just say. Not sure I used enough of the fruit powder. One suggestion was use the True Lemon packet and I think that might be better, or put the salt, potassium, magnesium electrolyte mix in juice. Lesson the sugar amount too in this base mix, since it overpowered the flavor of the salt a little too much, without enough dragonfruit powder flavor, and made my stomach kind of queasy from the over sweetness, with slight undertone of salt.Overall, I like this base electrolyte mix since I can experiment with flavors and use real sugar or honey, maple syrup or put in juice, versus fake since the premade stuff can be overly too chemical sweet at times.I'm a big fan of the subscribe and save since able to cancel orders if you want ito skip a delivery, or I cancel a subscription and start a new one if item is at a better deal, especially those with an additional 15- 25% off first order coupon on top of the subscription.Since this container will last me awhile, I will have time to check on the best deal to start another subscription on this same brand if less, or have the container delivered in the couple months I have it set for.

Good product
The taste is kind of 'fishy'. I stir it into pure pineapple juice (Aldi's or Trader Joe's) and dilute it with a little water (1-2 Tbs). I slug it down w/o breathing, then rinse with water or brush teeth. I am sleeping better and feeling better after taking D3-K2 and Magnesium Glysinate for the last two months.

Not as much in the containers as stated. Updated January, 2020
I have been taking Doctor's Best High Absorption Magnesium for a year now. It is probably the best on the market, dispite the taste. I add one scoop to about an inch of water every night and drink it down. I use the scoop that is included and make sure that I do not over fill the scoop. I can live with the taste, however the labeling is incorrect when it says that you get 100 scoops. You do not. I always write the date I open and start using the product on the top of the lid. The most I have ever gotten was for 85 scoops, the least I have gotten as been 70 scoops. On the average it has been about 75 to 78 scoops. That means that it was short 25 to 30 scoops per container. That to me is a big deal as it is not cheap to purchase. I have not seen anyone else complain about this, but it needs to be corrected either by making sure that there are 100 scoops or change the labeling and reduce the price. I really like the product and want to continue using it, as I don't take pills very well. My lab reports show that my mag. Is right where it should be since I started taking it, so it works. I just don't like feeling like I have been taken advantage of.Update review: 12-22-2017Just wanted to say they have changed the size of the scoops (made them smaller) and put a taller lid on the containers, so that on my current order I will get the 100 scoops as indicated on the container. The taste has not changed, but then I if you wash it down quickly it's not too bad. LolUpdated again January, 2020. Here we are with the same old problem as before. The last container I received I was able to get only 71 servings instead of 100. If I am only going to get 71 servings then that is all I want to pay for. I don't understand why this is still an ongoing issue. I date each container lid when I open it, then date it when I've taken the last serving. It is not hard to go to the calendar and count the days. I can deal with the taste, but I don't like being ripped off. The previous container was almost right on the number, so I don't understand the inconsistency of the product. Is there any one else out there having this issue? Come on Dr`s Best do it right. I just down graded to 3 stars. If I was getting all of the product I should then it would be a 5 star rating.
