Torocity 4SC 40% Mesotrione Herbicide for Turf 8 oz Bottle

Two years ago my lawn was full of weeds. I started using Mesotrione based weed killer and finally I have green lawn instead of green weeds. Trick is overseeding in fall and apply this weed killer in early spring. Follow the direction. I mixed it with two cup of soda per gallon as surfactant. After two seasons of treatment I have only green grass. After application you may see some brown out grass but weeds disappearing after 3-4 weeks and grass will spread and takeover the weed spots. Further spot applications can be used for stubborn weeds. Another trick is don’t cut grass too low.

I mixed it as directed 1/4 tsp (via a syringe) into my half gallon sprayer along with some wetting agent.I'd been putting off dealing with the nibblewill in my yard to the point I've got too much and pulling it out hasn't worked. It's all dying 7 days after the first treatment. It also seems to knock down crab grass starts and wild violets.I'm pleased to have found this "generic" version of Tenacity.

9 days following application started seeing some of the clover turn yellow and white. Around day 10 the crabgrass started turning white. Looks like a follow up spray will be required. My Bermuda lawn appears unaffected by the spray.14 days later definitely seeing the weeds turn yellow and white. This product requires a lot of patience. Don't lose patience and do a 2nd spray during those first 2 weeks.This seems like the cheaper alternative to Tenacity. Same main ingredient.
