Good books
After promising him a fiver when he's finished, my son finally started reading these. Yesterday he asked me if I knew the meaning of the universe and was astounded to discover I knew the answer. He's going as Arthur Dent for World Book Day. Definitely worth the money. I've probably saved hundreds of pounds in future marvel costumes.

A good read for fans
Good read for sci fi fans.

"Deep Thought"
I read these as a young man, got it for my sons, and they loved it too. Multi-generational love for the author's humour. I don't know if I would enjoy these today, as an older man, but they certainly belong to literature that one must read; best when one is younger I can imagine. I am fascinated by Adams's endless creativity, and the way he tells a story. And if re-read today, perhaps there are multitudes of parallels and references to the new developments in AI.

The collection that arrived is the correct edition (42nd anniversary), however it arrived without the slipcase (box).

I bought this set as a birthday present for my dad. I already own a older version and when my dad saw it, he told me about how he learned to read English by reading the Hitchhiker's guide. He also told me that he's wanted to read it again for years but hadn't been able to find a copy. He is over the moon with his gift
