This is one of the best books I have ever read on Iran, I highly recommend this book to any one who is interested in Iranian/Persian history.

This book is about history, archeology, material culture, language, architecture, religion, and more. It follows a chronology from pre-history to the end of Sassanid Iran. However, it does not follow the predictable and boring rhythm of many books. It is separated into distinct sections, which you can read and enjoy separately without having to read the previous section. I read the whole thing anyway, because I found the topics and themes of each chapter intriguing. Never thought I could pick up a handbook of 1000 pages and read it from cover to cover. But that's what happened in a matter of 2 weeks.

Very Poor, Not Persian History. It's The So Called Persian History as Greeks wrote, so I returned it. Don't buy it. All Persian Kings Monarch's names are Greek not Original Farsi😂😂

Niente da dire. Utilissimo e ricco di informazioni aggiornate. adatto allo studio e all'appassionato. Diviso per saggi ma è perfettamente leggibile
