I bought this book for my two daughters to use alongside their piano lessons, and it has been very useful. It’s well laid out and easy to follow, which makes practising scales and arpeggios less confusing for beginners. The book clearly shows the fingerings and covers everything needed for the early ABRSM grades. It works well both during lessons with their teacher and for practice at home. My daughters found it straightforward to understand, and it has helped them build confidence with their technique. The pages are clear and sturdy, and the size is convenient for using on a piano stand. It’s a practical and reliable resource for young learners working through their early grades. Overall, a very helpful book for piano students preparing for ABRSM exams and a good addition to regular lesson materials.

Excellent book supports with the ABRSM initial grading which my 7 year old passed with a distinction. Would definitely recommend. Just a fore warning the book is thin with not many pages but all the scales are assessed during the grading so it is worthwhile investment and consolidates previous learning.
