Great product, couldn’t be happier!
Very pleased with my purchase. This super light Bivvy came in very handy only a couple of days after purchased (unexpected). I tossed it into my pack to hike a 14er in CO just for piece of mind. Even though it was a sunny day, it was extremely windy and chilly on the peak. I didn’t pack a jacket so instead grabbed the Red Cloud Bivvy out of the pack and bundled up. I was shocked how it was able to cut the wind and cold so I could enjoy the views. Not exactly an emergency situation but gave me a lot of confidence in the product. Great price too! Bought a few more to toss in all our vehicles as well as backpacks for hiking or camping.

RED CLOUD: A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE
Fortunately I haven't had an emergency where I needed to use my Emergency Bivvy, but ordered 4 of them and am pleased with the construction. There are also two repair patches included in case you do make a tear in the fabric.I am very pleased at the size and weight of the bivvy. Even more impressive, they give you a velcro strap you can use to re-rollup the bivvy with after you are done so you can fit it back in it's carrying pouch.Best of all is the OUTSTANDING customer service that Red Cloud provided. I had a few questions so I clicked on their help link and quickly got on an on-line chat. The customer service rep for Red Cloud was a "real" person who was very easy to communicate with and who immediately went about answering my questions and giving me a quick solution.BONUS: I don't know how long they are doing this promo, but inside each of my bivvys was a coupon for a second bivvy FREE! Now I have 8 of them and can pass them out to my family. THANKS RED CLOUD!

Get this bivvy, if you want to survive:)
This is an awesome emergency sleeping bag. I’ve been looking for one and wasn’t sure what to get until I saw this Bivvy. It’s so light and compact, you can take it with you anywhere. I started to get warm within seconds of being inside. I will be keeping this in my vehicle for emergencies as well taking it camping.

Lightweight inexpensive life saver
Super small, light, and an inexpensive MUST HAVE for any outdoor enthusiast. If you backcountry ski, hike 14ers, hunt, bike etc. you have probably had a moment of fear of “what if I got stuck out here?” I put this in my pack and will no longer have that fear. At 6’2” I was worried something so small would work, but I tested it out and I fit well in it. Many I looked at didn’t have the added hood length for head coverage that is crucial to body heat. Quality material and guarantee offered made it easy to choose Red Cloud over any other bivy out there.

Solid product
I have similar products from another brand and got this for it's additional hood. While it's about .8oz heavier, it is a touch larger and also seems to be made of a beefier material. I carry an emergency bivy when mountaineering and skiing and sometimes use it has a ground sheet for a sleeping pad. Being ever so slightly heavier, it should be more durable for long term use.

Light and Packs Well
I have a couple of emergency bivvies, bit this one packs up smaller than the others. It also seems to be a thicker material. Like the hood option as well. Can't speak to the warmth since I've not used it yet, but I appreciate having this for piece of mind!

Great survival accessory
The Red Cloud emergency sleeping bag is an important safety tool. It's very small and is about the same weight as a snack bar. There have been many times out camping when I've been caught in weather much colder than was forecast. This can be the difference between freezing or having a warm night's sleep. I used it just to stay comfortable but in the worst situation it can be a life saver. I like to go prepared and this fits the need. It's not really strong enough for repeated daily use but at this price it can easily be replaced. I plan to add on to our car for winter safety.

Essential Item for any pack or vehicle!
For anyone who enjoys spending time away from the crowds; whether fishing, hunting, backpacking/camping, skiing or on any other backcountry adventure, this is a vital piece of equipment to keep in your pack. With pack space and weight always being a limiting factor, Red Cloud has designed a a product that will fit essentially anywhere (even your pocket if needed!).As someone who also makes some long, sketchy winter drives through areas with little to no service or traffic, this will also be a nice addition to my trucks emergency kit.Always best to prepare for the worst!
