I am revising my original one star. What I learned is that you should not buy plastic adapters and expect them to fit aluminum ones. Either stick to plastic or stick to aluminum. I recommend aluminum. They will last you a life time. Four stars because they should tell us in the item description not to mix and match

This was perfect piece for me to take on my solo trip to Europe, i usually have my little tripod that I use for my phone, and my gopro. I have a mirrorless camera that I usually use a bigger tripod for.. but I did not want to pack 2 tripod and one being bulkier than the other. I wanted to try out this connector for my smaller tripod so I just use one for all 3 devices. It is super easy to use. Screwed well and perfectly onto my Canon EOSM6 mirrorless camera and it stayed on well as well. I would purchase this again. Nice it comes in a pack of 2 as well. I recommend if you travel a lot, use different tripods that you use other devices for, that you just need quick detachment, to transfer devices onto one tripod. Perfect little thing for gopro/ camera users!

The adapter feels great, it's sturdy, the, uh, snugging screw top(?) Spins easily and seems to hold the camera well. I wish I could love it.However, both heads were missing the tightening mini-allen screw thing that was the driving force behind the purchase. It came with the Allen wrench to tighten as well but no screw to tighten.Ordered a replacement as well and the same problem. All the adapters had the holls drilled but there's nothing in them.If you get the head WITH the tightening screw, this would probably be a wonderful product.

They connect a 1/4-20 thread to a Gopro mount and they do it well.They are solid, simple and look nice.If you need such a thing then buy them, they work.

Because they’re aluminium they won’t get snug and tight when you do up the GoPro screw. Plastic adapters will compress allowing them to get tight. Aluminium should be as good but only if they’re the right thickness. Unfortunately they’re a touch small and that means no matter how much you tighten the screw the camera remains loose. For the money the adapters should have more precise measurements and be better spaced. In the process of returning mine.
