A feel good love story
Jason Collins has become my go-to author for a feel good love story. This book met and exceeded all the positive feelings I crave when I need to escape life in the real world. Ethan Carrington, born of weath and privilege meets Brett Parker, a young man from the blue collar middle class. The one thing they have in common is their relationships with their dads. Ethan’s smug and belittling dad has set almost insurmountable expectations for him and Brett’s dad is as good as nonexistent. When Brett comes looking for a job at Ethan’s newly purchased rundown vineyard, Ethan comes up with a plan: The Boyfriend Contract. He does this to prove to potential investers but mainly to his father that he is no longer the irresponsible self-centered rich boy and having a steady boyfriend will lend credence to his maturity. When Brett agrees to The Boyfriend Contract he wonders more than once how this “business” contract will play out. Well now....lol.So this is where my heart starts to go pitty patter as I found myself mostly smiling, swooning and sighing with an occasional fist shake and tsk tsk at Ethan. We also get a sweet grandma thrown in as an added bonus for some wisdom & chuckles. Love love loved how they all interacted in this adorably well written love story.

Loved It!
Ethan and Brett were drawn to each other the moment they set eyes on each other. Which is probably the only reason Ethan suggested the contract and Brett accepted in the first place, although the money was a nice compensation too. Grandma Mary was a spitfire who raised Brett into the amazing, caring man that Ethan fell in love with. I loved it when Ethan finally gave Daniel and his father a piece of his mind and got that negativity out of his life.'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'

Fun romp in wine country with a bit of intrigue, a little angst, and lots of romance.
Fun romp in wine country with a bit of intrigue, a little angst, and lots of romance. What happens when the perfect fake boyfriends develop real feelings? Two men with very different backgrounds find they have a lot in common including love. Writing flowed nicely and the story-line was a winner! This book hit a lot of feels for me!Brett and Ethan are steamy, sweet, hopeful and so perfect together. I love the supporting characters and thoroughly enjoyed this story! One of my favorite quotes from this story is: "What I have with... is real, and I mean the kind of real that makes you want to change yourself to be better , to push past all that... all that meaningless crap we did together, "

Wine isn't the only thing paired beautifully with the meal.
I'm obsessed with the author and his ability to create unique stories that while anchored in basic romance, have yet to disappoint. Each character comes to life and each story rich in theme, location, conflict, yearning and sexual detail that is hot and in keeping with the characters.

Not bad
But this book needs better editing. We jump suddenly from morning to night. Some of the characters are a bit clichéd, their motivation is unclear and they become comic book villains, not real people.I think this writer has potential.

Love This Book
Anything involving M/M Romance and a winery, I am totally sold. The main characters are adorable and it's overall a great read.

Fun, Super Hot, Exciting!!!
Hands down one of the steamiest and exciting reads from Jason Collin. Ethan and Brett made one hell of a team. The story captivated me from the first line , "I feel invincible". Ethan's chance to restore and refurbish an old unkempt vineyard starts to take shape as Ethan looks to take the property and ultimately flip it for a profit. Brett looks to hopefully land some work bar tending for this new project. The playfulness and quick affection that starts to form with the two is charming and fun. The "Boyfriend" contract that they enter into to hopefully secure outside investors to help grow the vineyard and make it a truly as fantastic it can be plays out with super cute banter and definitely starts blurring lines between fake and real. What I love is that it is so well executed and the way it is written gives of super warm feels and seriously page scorching moments where you might need to grab a glass of water to cool off. But what is wonderful is how the characters that are all involved from Grandma Mary, to the wait staff and the chef, but some of my favorites were characters I really despised and being able to convey that is really something I have admired in much of the authors work overall. Taking the story to a very dramatic and tense place that keeps you flying through pages , giving your heart a adrenaline kick because you really are invested in this couple.. The Boyfriend Contract is fun, super hot, exciting and leaves you feeling completely satisfied!

Another hit for Jason Collins
The prolific writer that is Jason Collins has another hit on his hands.I've read most of his books and really enjoyed them The Boyfriend Contract is no exception. To me, some of the plot falls into the too-goo-to-be-true category, but in this case it is definitely true. You'll need to read The Boyfriend Contract to know what I mean. The characters, both good and bad, and the story line mesh into one great read. I recommend it highly. The only thing i disliked is that in several places the main character names were switched and I had to read the paragraphs a couple of times to understand what was going on in the paragraphs. It didn't really detract from the story. It's a pet peeve of mine, and if the author didn't catch it (happens to every writer who's stories I've read), one of the beta readers or the editor should have. For that reason alone I give it 4½ out of 5 stars

Boyfriend contract is a winner
A playboy, a blue collar worker, an overbearing billionaire father and the sweetest Grandma around. Ethan & Brett agree to a fake boyfriend contract to help Ethan get investors so he can prove to his billionaire father that he is worthy of the Carrington name, but along the way lines gets blurred and Ethan’s father Edward Carrington doesn’t like it, so sets things in motion to break them apart. Ethan doesn’t know how to stand up to his father or for himself & after some meddling, Brett believes that he’s not good enough for Ethan’s life & Ethan is trying to get rid of him. Can these two men realize how much they love each other before it’s too late? Great build up to the end & having Ethan & Brett getting what they deserve.
