Bergen Marzipan 54 Piece Assorted Fruit Box Tray Net Weight 25 oz

Delicious... was clearly well-made and fresh. It has gotten dry and stale since i received it (at no fault of the manufacturer... if this didn't get stale over time I would be scared). This is an item that I can see could be bad if inventoried for a long time or if the packaging is damaged. However, I ordered it around xmas time and it was perfectly fresh.

This is a candy from my childhood. I was so excited when my order came..but..the box was smashed a bit and totally retaped. I opened it and there was the candy tray wrapped in the tiny holed bubble wrap with clear packaging tape around it. When I tried to cut it carefully there was no way to do it because the tape was stuck on the cellophane wrap. I had to tear it off exposing half of the candy to the air. I was worried they would dry out so I had to put them in a zip lock bag..so much for presentation. The candy pieces themselves were not damaged at all. I dont think the damage was from Amazon. The candy was fresh and was just like I remembered them as a child..very yummy! Nice coloring.

This is the most disgusting marzipan I’ve ever had in my life. Stale, tastes old and not worth the price. I have to throw the whole box away.

Every year I buy this for my families Christmas party. Everyone loves these and they disappear fast. A good value for something everyone loves.

Product is great, as always. However must have been tossed around during shipping. Half arrived upside down and all disheveled. But the quality is the BEST! Would still definitely buy again!

Not the best packaging. It is too lose and half of them are out of their spot and upside down.

I love marizpan! I know they are best when soft. I let my first one sit for a month, by accident. I loved them a little harder and they still tasted great. Then I ordered another and they were very soft. I ate them too quickly. I love them either way... LOL

I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS! It is hard to tell from the photos for the product on Amazon, but the packaging of this item is flexible plastic wrap, and the cardboard box flexes, too. As you can see from the photos, mine arrived in terrible condition. There was a tear in the plastic wrap in the corner, and there were a couple of smaller holes in the plastic wrap elsewhere. It seems these holes must have been there for a while, because the candies (which, as you can see, are all over the place) are hard as rocks. If they weren't inedible because of the tear in the packaging (who knows what might have come in contact with them?), they certainly would be because of being dental hazards. So, just return it or exchange it, right? NOPE. THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE! I couldn't believe it. I reached out to Amazon customer service, and they issued a refund, but WHEW. I guess I need to get in the habit of making sure all items I buy are returnable/replaceable.
