Great Webcam Stand
This works great for my computer set-up (I work from home). I am able to adjust the placement of my web camera very easily and it's sturdy. Plus it doesn't take up hardly any room on my desk.

Very good . . but
I mainly bought this for video recording my worktable from a top-view as I show diagrams of what I am building, as well as videotaping the build off my iPhone. In terms of holding the camera steady and sturdy to the table; I give 5-Stars!In terms of adjusting the height and length - I give 4-Stars. The reason for that is both arms do not telescope. I find this a design flaw, or short-sighted in the least. The horizontal and vertical arm adjustment angles - I give 5-Stars. The unit is designed with saw-tooth clamps that allow you to fine tune the degree of angle. The phone holder and ball joint - I give 5-Stars. This allows the User to set precise angles - up / down, Left/Right and etc. with ease by turning the thumb-screw adjustment. The iPhone holder itself I give 3.5-Stars. The reason is that the holder has an extremely strong spring that make it difficult to secure the phone into position. You need to be very careful how you hold the phone as you place it in the holder as it's very, very easy to press the side buttons on the phone! Another problem of pressing the side buttons is the holder itself. Securing the phone sideways (landscape), the footholds of the holder can also depress those buttons - so it's very important that you position the phone where both the holder and your fingers are not pressing buttons. I do use an iPhone case - but even with that, it's still easy to press those buttons.Overall - giving the limitations I mentioned as well as all the other observations I find this product to be excellent. Even though the arms do not telescope, the iPhone does capture 95% of the work area - and using both the arm adjustments for height, along with having the camera zoom in / out, the Mount does more or less what I want it to do. It's very sturdy, and well made. There really isn't much assembly. All you need to do is secure the C-clamp to the pole. Then secure the clamp to the table. Screw in the Phone Holder and you're done. The rest is just adjusting the desired angles.

Positive changed to how I record video
My channel is BBQ/food centric, requiring a top-down method of filming. I have tried many of the "inexpensive" arms, all with mixed to horrible results, like slowly sinking, claiming to be able to handle 2-3 pounds, but shifting around with far less weight. What I really needed was an inexpensive arm that could hold my camera and a ring light, this one does the job. Unlike some of the other arms, you can actually see the teeth where the joints articulate, this prevents me from torquing them down incorrectly, causing a slip or break, even though the gears/teeth are plastic, as long as you unscrew the handles enough, they shouldnt grind together, and once tightened, they'll stay in place solid. The arms themselves are metal, though, im sure it's painted aluminum, they should be sturdy enough to perform. This doesn't offer the same flexibility or instant articulation like others, but since I need more of a static mount, this will do the job nicely. It's silent, too.The only two con I see right now is the metal bolts for the articulating joints appear to be surrounded by plastic matching the bolt size, this may be detrimental, but right now, not a concern. The other is that there is no shock absorption method on it, so if your table isn't really heavy or dense, bumping will make it shake, non issue for me personally, as the last overhead I had was rigged up to a chair back in front of the table I use. but it at least should be noted. There are other, much higher dollar options out there, but since my channel is starting, budget is pretty tight. I imagine I will be buying one or two more in the very near future.

Take a lot of fiddling and is limited in instalation orientation
The arms only rotate farther in one orientation. To fix, I had to mount it on the left side and have movement on the right, but that puts the tightening levers on the backside. There seems to be a lot of play when it's in its fixed position as well.It will do the job, but I'm not impressed.

Works as advertised
I'm using this webcam stand to hold my phone up over my monitor so that I can use my phone instead of a webcam. This is a more cost effective solution when I already have a webcam, but it's not available at the moment. This webcam stand is very versatile, allowing me to move it anywhere on the table I need it and it is high enough to hold my phone over my monitor. Highly recommended!

Quick setup, sturdy design
I was looking for something to mount my DSLR camera on (a Canon EOS Rebel T6i) so I can have an overhead view of sorts to be used with EOS Utility, for use in tutoring and just showing friends things on a whiteboard or paper amidst Covid. This stand fits the job perfectly; it is study enough to hold my 1.7 pound (0.78 kg) camera in place, and quite flexible too. My only complaint would be that the ball mount on the very end won't hold my camera's weight in certain positions, but rotating around the arm it's connected to gets around this fine. The setup for the stand is pretty easy, although it does take some time and you have to figure it out on your own. Fun puzzle for me, not too complicated to figure out (there's probably 5 or so different pieces that it comes in). I'm thinking of buying another of these stands for my microphone (Yeti Nano). The thread size is perfect for that as well, and this seems better than the other stands designed for microphones that you can find in this price range. If you're looking for the best deal on a stand for a camera, phone, or microphone (which I know you are, since you're this many Amazon pages in), this is the stand to buy!
