Great product.
I have tried several extruder models to find one that works well with a Bowden setup. This extruder surpasses in performance compared to others. With the 3:1 gear ratio and the dual gears driving the filament this extruder can handle the back pressure of a Bowden tube without slipping. The only negative comment I would have is that the first pair I ordered came in a box packed with foam while the second pair I ordered came in a plastic box in an Amazon plastic shipping bag. The plastic box lid opened during shipment and all of the parts were loose in the bag tumbling around during shipment. I still need to inspect them for damage but would like to suggest to Amazon and the vendor that the cardboard box and packing is the much better way to go with this product.

Not perfect, but the best clone I've used
This will never be as good as an authentic Bondtech BMG extruder. However, for an inexpensive printer it works great. My recommendation is to run it backwards. Flip it around so that the bowden tube from your hot end goes into the *replaceable* fitting that is screwed in. That way if you have to replace it, which you will at some point, you can. Take a small piece of PTFE tube and put it into the other end where it's not replaceable so that the filament can flow into it without obstruction and it works great that way.As always, don't forget to calibrate your e steps when replacing an extruder.

Poorly built
Poorly built, chews up the filament and falls apart when trying to feed filament through.

Waste of time and money!! Piece of junk!!
The media could not be loaded. The secondary gear floats up and down on the arm and causes filament jams. The teeth on the gear won’t properly grip when it’s sliding up and down. I cut a small piece of tubing like other people recommended in the reviews but that didn’t work. The tubing slid inside the gear and caused additional filament jams. If the manufacturer making this product know this is an issue, why don’t they fix it????? Very frustrating. Don’t waste your money!! I do not recommend this product or any of the clones considering they seem to have similar problems.

Best bang for the buck!
This extruder is an excellent addition to my direct drive Ender 3. E-step had to be adjusted to 415 and the extruder multipler set to 93%. For price, the build quality is excellent. The body is injection molded. Drive gears are metal. Only the large idler gear is plastic but should work just fine. A little bit of multi purpose synthetic grease with PTFE can go a long way for a simple drive setup such as this. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Noisy Gears , Loose PTFE connector will need to manually fix yourself
Gears are noisy so if you have a bowden the retractions are gonna suck and you will need to lower your retraction speed significantly. I had to go from 80 mm/s to 30 mm/sWhen I say noisy, I mean it sounds like a print failing, like catastrophic failureThe output connector is just loose and flops all over the place. You will need to find a way to secure it yourself unless having your PTFE tube moving in and out around a couple mm is now the new hotness for your prints, mine said no.

Is compatible with Anycubic kobra max
The media could not be loaded. Bought as a shot in the dark to repair my Kobra max, fits like a glove and works great! Make sure you follow those instructions to a T!(Ignore the brass fitting, it was from the old extruder and I didn’t feel like cutting the filament tube)

Very good upgrade from a single sided extuder
This went on a Tronxy that had the typical garbage OEM extruder. I think most of my nozzle clogs were because of extruder slipping...Anyway, pretty easy instal EXCEPT that the extruder direction needed to be reversed. A pin and some patience and I could pull out the connecter pins and swap them.Next was the Steps per MM... Mine ended up being twice the recomended value. (848 was the final value)First print after calibrating everything was a success!
