I’ve tried over 50 different protein bars—seriously, you name it, I’ve probably had it (and I’m still trying new ones all the time). But Grenade bars are by far the best I’ve come across. They taste more like a candy bar than a protein bar, which is rare in this category. My favorite flavor is the Cookie Dough—it packs 20g of protein and only 1.9g of sugar, which is pretty incredible considering how good it tastes. The texture is smooth and satisfying, not chalky or dry like a lot of others out there. These have definitely become a staple in my routine. The only downside—and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5—is the shipping. It’s consistently delayed, which gets frustrating when you’re trying to restock. Hopefully they get that sorted out, because the product itself is top-notch.

I am an extremely busy woman who works 10 to 14 hours per day & although I am not necessarily trying to lose weight, I like to have easy meals I can eat on the go when needed. I try to be diligent about packing my lunch for work the night before, but I am human so sometimes I get tired & lazy & it just doesn't happen (& I rush so much in the morning I don't have time to make lunch) so these protein bars are perfect for me & my lifestyle. I don't eat protein bars daily, but I love having a box of these on hand for when I need that quick, grab-&-go lunch & it's so much better for me than stopping to get fast food. These are conveniently individually wrapped so you can grab one and toss it in your purse, backpack, pocket, whatever. Believe it or not, one bar is actually filling. I've tried other protein bars in the past that weren't filling at all and I was hungry again 30 minutes later - that is NOT the case with these. Furthermore, these actually have a pleasant taste that isn't overly sweet! It has just enough sweetness to it to give you that feeling of eating a sweet treat but it isn't too much or overwhelming. To me, the flavor is like vanilla mixed with white chocolate but minus the intense sweetness of chocolate. The bars aren't chalky or too dry & have a nice chewy consistency to them. If you are looking for a protein bar that actually has a pleasant flavor & is filling, then I definitely recommend these.

These are the tastiest protein bars I have tasted so far. They are not dry and hard like other protein bars on the market. I've tried Alani Nu and Quest Bars (plus others brands) and these by far taste the best. I bought the variety pack to try out all the flavors and all of them tasted very delicious. Like a candy bar. The box that it came in was a bit damaged, maybe from transit? But the bars were fine. For those who are interested to know about taste/flavor My favorites were: Dark Chocolate Raspberry: Tastes just like the flavor name. Dark chocolate and raspberries. Peanut nutter: Tastes like chocolate and peanut butter. Kind of like a Little Debbie Nutty Bar. Salted Peanut: White chocolate. This one tasted like a softer version of a PayDay bar. Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel: I didn't notice any chocolate chip but it did have caramel in it. Tastes like salted caramel. My least favorite: Caramel chaos: had no caramel and it tasted like a chocolate protein bar just not as dry as the usual protein bars you get. Really confused on the name and flavor. If I had purchased this flavor alone instead of the variety pack, I would have been disappointed. Chocolate chip cookie dough: tasted like cookie dough (you wouldn't be able to tell the flavor without reading the name) with some bits and pieces of chocolate chips. Not bad but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this flavor. I would repurchase the variety pack again since I really enjoyed 4/6 of the flavors. Do read the instructions on the box regarding ingredients, allergies, and storage conditions. EDIT: So I'm finishing up the rest of the bars and I noticed that the last caramel chaos bar is completely different from the first bar I tried from the pack. The first bar was completely chocolate inside with no caramel and the last bar had a very thin layer of caramel on top with a peanut butter like filling with bits and pieces of chocolate chip. Did they mispackage some bars into the wrong wrapper?? Were any of these bars the actual caramel chaos because neither of them tasted anything like caramel. Finished my second box and I have come to the conclusion that some of these bars are PACKAGED INCORRECTLY. Caramel Chaos and Salted Caramel have been different bars... Caramel Chaos has been packaged with a Salted Caramel bar, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar, a plain chocolate bar, and an unknown one (which I'm guessing may be the real identity). The last Salted Caramel bar I had was a plain chocolate one, similar to the first Caramel Chaos bar I had. No caramel, just chocolate like a Tootsie Roll. The bars are delicious but I'm not really happy to find my bars being packaged incorrectly.

I usually don't eat a lot of protein bars but figured I would try these because my brother and a friend like this brand and let me tell you that these are addicting. Some protein bars that I've had have been hard to chew and swallow and just difficult to eat because they tasted bad but not these ones. These are definitely one of the better tasting protein bars I've tried and I'm usually not even a big fan of White Chocolate which is what these ones are that I got. They were fresh, soft, and easy to swallow. Each bar has 220 calories, 21g of carbs with 6g fiber, and 22g of protein. I really like these bars and am glad I gave them a try because they are right up at the top of my list for best protein bars I've had to date. If you're looking for a good snack to fit into your diet then I highly recommend these. Now I just need to try ALL the other flavors to see how they stack up against this one.

These protein bars are great for people who love caramel or the consistency of it. I need to preface this review to say I do not like caramel, the flavor of it, or the tacky/sticky consistency. I gave this product 3 stars because I only ended up liking half of the flavors. This variety pack contains 2 of each of the following flavors: CARAMEL CHAOS I did not even attempt to try this flavor as I knew I wouldn't like it. I gave these 2 bars away. PEANUT BUTTER This flavor had a layer of goo that was the consistency of caramel, or perhaps even caramel itself. I did not like it for that reason and ended up giving the 2nd bar away. COOKIE DOUGH This flavor was the one I was looking forward to the most! Unfortunately, it ended up being the most disappointing. This is very, very tasty. You can’t tell it’s a protein bar at all. Tastes like a candy bar but without so much sugar and loaded with protein.

I have purchased a box of this product 3 times . The very first box I purchased , the product was fine . Just a regular , standard protein bar , nothing out of this world . The second box I purchased , was the caramel flavored one . Something must have gone wrong in the process , because the caramel wasn't "caked" on properly on the bars . They were still edible , but it was obvious that the bars didn't come out like they were supposed to . Every single bar in that box was warped or deformed . My third box was the Cookies and Cream flavor . I bit into one yesterday and unfortunately bit into a hard as a rock cookie piece. I immediately spit out the cookie piece but the damage was done , it has shipped one my teeth . Thank God I was eating slowly , because I could have cracked my tooth entirely had I bit too hard . I cannot recommend this product as it's obvious there's manufacturing issues with it .
