My 18 month old loves this book! Lots of flaps to open on each page, the colors are beautiful and the quality is great. Some lift-the-flap books tear very easily but these are sturdy card stock and not at all flimsy. Highly recommend!

I bought this book for my 1 year old grandson (son of an art teacher) and was so impressed with the color explanations, pull down flaps and the beautiful pictures! I totally recommend this book!

Love Love Love this book. Bought one for my grandchild and ended up keeping it for myself. Bought four more to share with all my children's children. Not your typical kid's color book; actually teaches about the blending of colors and offers many of the unique names such as tangerine, scarlet and vermillion. Plus lots of fun opening and shutting the little doors.

Grandkids enjoy this book a lot. Strong, well-made, and stands up to children. It is especially appreciated by the giver because I like that they are learning more colors besides just the primary and secondary colors. Fun and educational.

My students (4 year old preschool), really enjoyed this book. This book did a great job visually explaining the primary and secondary colors. My students loved guessing which colors would be underneath the flaps and they were giggly when we practiced saying some of the names. Flaps were easy to open and seems durable. My students all gave the book a thumbs up. Followed with a fun discussion on colors we love.

I highly recommend "The Other Colors"! This book does a good job explaining primary colors and how they can be mixed to make other colors, before dedicating a flip the flap page to each color hue. The pages/flaps are very sturdy which is key for a Lift the Flap book (speaking from experience:)). My kids (4 & 6) love the rhyming story and trying to guess "the other colors". Great artwork, too - such a cute book!
