We love the mat! No more ugly dish rack on the counter or wet rags sitting around. The water doesn’t drain as quickly with just a few dishes, but once there’s more water, it drains well.

Love the larger size. Easy to clean. Black leaves little stains to show. The side drain is great and water easily runs off or dries. Good quality. Not too thick. Looks nice against granite counters with black specks.

I'm not sure why they don't make the hard dish mats with slope, larger: like actually big enough to use your entire dish rack...but alas, they don't. Is this a perfect dish mat? Absolutely not. But, I'm going to keep it because it saves me from having to worry about a wet cloth mat under the dishes getting stinky until it dries. This mat is light weight and stays in place. I do love the color (grey). The quality of the mat seems good, I don't see it getting ripped or torn. It is big enough to keep the water off the counter, even when using the prongs on my dish rack for glasses. As for performance, the issue with this mat is unless your countertop slopes, which I highly doubt it does, this will NOT self drain on a regular sink. Maybe it would on an under the counter mounted sink, but definitely not on a regular sink like mine. If you are like me and won't mind lifting the dish rack to drain this mat as soon as you're all done washing dishes, then it'll work (otherwise it'll get grundgy over time and limescale build up from water pooling). If you don't want to have to take that extra step, skip this all together.

I finally found a dish mat that works for my kitchen. Up till now, I have been using cloth mats for drying dishes. This mat holds more dishes and is easily drained and wiped clean. No more throwing a dish mat in the washer two times a week!

The size and quality of this mat are perfect! It's easy to fold and store when not in use, and it's large enough to hold big pots and pans. The built-in spout is a great feature—it makes draining water super easy. My only complaint with the black version is that it tends to show white water stains unless it's dried thoroughly after each use. If that doesn’t bother you, it's an excellent mat overall. It also cleans up nicely in the dishwasher.

The drain is not on the side that I thought that it was. My bad. But it worked out fine in the end, fitting sideways to what I had been planning, and I am perfectly happy with the mat. You WILL need to account for any elevation gain needed. By that I mean than in my case, my sink has a 1/2 inch lip above the level of the counter-top. I have a 1/2 inch plastic cutting board of a slightly larger dimension than the mat sitting under the mat, plus I have a shim under one side of the board so that the mat will drain properly into the sink. Unless your sink is completely flush with the counter-top, this mat cannot possibly drain, and even then it won't drain well unless it is elevated at an angle. Even with mine set up as well as is reasonably possible, water still puddles in the lower corners and if left too long, and will turn orange and scummy. This is easy enough to clean up with a little dish soap, a brush, and a rinse with the sprayer. Unless you are going to drain and dry this mat after every use, intending instead to leave it and your dish rack in place like I am wont to do, then you will need to make some accommodations for it. I don't remember what I paid for it. It seems plenty thick and durable. It does exactly what I needed it to do.

Exactly what I was looking for, this drying mat is so big that it covers the whole area by my sink. It's very easy to wash, rinse and dry, and thick enough that it should last a while.

I always used a drying mat but it would always be very wet once dishes were done. I decided to try this silicone mat. It is of good quality, great size and holds any dripping water in the mat until I lift it to stain it. A quick dry with my cloth and store it away!
