I was hesitant to order this coffee maker because it is not really a name brand that i know. I ordered it anyways because the price was really good for what it has to offer.Had it for several weeks now and its grinding and brewing like a champ.Getting up in the mornings is so much easier and i wake up with a smile knowing that my coffee will be ready the minute i step down stairs into the kitchen.This coffee grinder/maker is really amazing. it took me a while to figure out on how to get the perfect coffee cause it has so many settings (lol). But once i figured it out i realized that this off-brand coffee maker/grinder is one of the best i ever had.I love this machine. it also looks very good in the kitchen. very nice looking and really good functioning.The only thing i would like to be improved is the lid for the coffee beans. I am hoping it will last. so far so good. no complaints. and its also not this great sellers issue but rather the manufacturers.anyhow, super happy with this seller and this product. i wish id need another unit like this so that i could order it but i don't.Thank you seller....great service, great product.....seller even sent me an instruction manual on how to use this coffee maker.Awesome transaction and product..thanks againAndy

I was looking for a coffeemaker for my office so I'm not forced to use the Keurig. I wanted a machine with a burr grinder and a timer. This Gevi is what I decided on and if you're looking for similar qualities I recommend this machine.So, first let me say that when you get your settings dialed in this makes the best cup of coffee I've ever had from a drip machine. There are lots of settings to play with so finding your ideal cup can take some time. Here is what I use:- no paper filter (this affected the flavor a lot, surprisingly. The basket's mesh is tight enough that you don't need a separate filter).- medium brew strength- grind setting on second largest bean image (there are lots of detents, so not the second notch on the wheel but the second-largest bean image)- same amount of water as the number for the amount of coffee ground- light-medium roast beansWith all that said, there are some minor issues that keep it from being a 5* product.- grinder is very loud. Definitely noticeable from 2 offices down from mine. And it grinds for longer than you might expect- the mechanism that lets the grounds fall into the brew basket is a bit inaccurate and you'll get some grounds scattered around the machine. Not a lot but it's noticeable.- The bean hopper is right above the brew basket, and you don't want steam from the hot grounds clogging up the grinder. After brewing, I push the button to open the brew basket nook and leave it ajar. Perfectly normal for machines in this range, you have to spend more to get a more separated bean hopper.- No insulated carafe. Again, with all the other features of this machine it's understandable.- Figuring out how to set the timer can be a bit tricky. Don't press the On / Off button during this process or you'll start a pot. Hold down the Program button to set the desired time to brew and press it again to turn on the timer.I would definitely buy this machine again, the drawbacks are, for me, very minor.

This is the replacement for the previous branded model. The last one just stopped grinding the second day after unplugged, plugged back in, approximately 1.2 years.Get the 3 or 4 year insurance offered during your purchase. They refunded me the entire purchase so I could purchase this unit.We use Starbucks Strong blend for 3 American cups of coffee (6 cups water) and 4 cups grind coffee beans.I removed the strainer and am using 4"coffee filters. Makes for easier cleaning. The provided filter isn't fine enough to stop the finest grind settings. We were getting fine grinds in the last cup of coffee.Yes, it is loud if you are present during grinding. We set the timer and the coffee grinding is our alarm. Not a complaint, just note it may startle the easy to startle person.The coffee maker fits perfectly on the counter. I thought it was tight, but it fits good.The only thing I wish was the clock were 12 hour (shows am/pm) instead of 24 hour.

Buyer WarningWe purchased this coffee maker pre-pandemic and it's worked amazingly well. There are a few little foibles you need to dance around (it won't feed dark roasted beans into the grinder, the grind setting is pretty much useless, etc). Even with all that we liked it well enough for the price. We were looking for a good balance between flavor and convenience and this seemed to do the trick. I was a little concerned about the inability to clean or clear out the grinders because the bean hopper is glued to the top, but that seemed like a small thing.Then the carafe broke.Now we see there are no replacement parts anywhere. The company that manufactures this machine simply makes the machine and expects you to purchase a brand new model if anything at all goes wrong. It's not just the carafe. This also includes the filter basket and anything else you'd expect to be able to easily replace. There are several generic options people suggest but they all don't fit quite right or require jerry rigging that reduces the convenience or flavor.To sum up, don't purchase this machine unless you are prepared to buy a brand new one every three years or so.
