Velco sticks -- so duh, take it out & turn it over, reinsert it. Wallah!! no more stick to everything, it's a no brainer..as for blue film, it is not a big deal. when begins to peel take it off! These are great value for so many items, I use one for night, one for swim, and smaller one when going out. Have mallet finger issue..i like them.

I jammed and fractured a finger. The doctor just taped a difficult to position little splint onto it that didn't stop me from painfully bumping it and was difficult to put on and take off for showers, etc. So I came to Amazon and found these since I needed to support it for the next few weeks. I've been wearing the style from this set that covers the top and bottom of my finger for over a week now and find it very comfortable and practical. The end was a bit narrow for my finger but it was easy to bend and adjust the fit. It provides great support and protection as I continue to clumsily bump my finger while it heals. The sponge inside does crush a little flat, but not to the point where it stopped being comfortable or fitting snugly. I love how it is snug, but I can slip it off for handwashing or a shower then slide it back on without really having to open and close the velcro straps. The sponge is also breathable so you can blot it dry with a papertowel if it gets wet and after a week it doesn't smell unlike the splint which started to smell after being taped onto my finger for a day and a night. The velcro straps are the one place where it looses a star. It is double sided velcro with the rough side out, so it catches a lot of stray lint and fuzzy and starts to show it quickly. This is a pretty minor thing though and compared to the benifit it's given me as my finger heals, it's not worth fretting over. This set came with two varieties in various sizes, much more for than other sets on Amazon for about the same price. So I recommend it!

I love these finger supports. Velcro is strong and holds in place. Great fit, comfort and value for the money.

They shield the trigger finger, but the wraparound straps catch on any material you handle.

I cut my finger with a table saw and the despite the finger being a real mess, the emergency room sent me home with a Band Aid and some well wishes. That left me to figure out how to treat it. I bought some gauze, self adhesive wrap, and a pack of these things. The finger is now healing well and is well protected by these splints. They are reusable and durable, so after this accident, they can go back in the bag for the next problem to arise.

These worked great to splint my little finger after it was broken. They are comfortable and easy to put on.
