If you want a more real looking size, get 1 carat. If you want something a little more gaudy, get 2 carats.

I believe they are 2 carats. I bought these and they are big enough to look real but not too big to look fake.

Yes. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.

From the picture it looks like the 2 carats have the post in the middle and the 3 carats have the post on the top. Is that correct? Thanks!

I wouldn't know about the 2 carat because I ordered the 3 carat, but I think that the earring was just rotated to assume that the post was in a different position. I hope this helps!
