I was shopping during my lunch hour at work, and couldn't get my trunk ( 2016 Hyundai Elantra) to stay shut...I wasn't far from the dealership....so went there hoping they'd help me out....Nope...too busy, nothing we can do....you can make an appointment for three weeks from now....Great....thanks so much...So, I found a Youtube video that showed the procedure for replacing the part, with a link to the product....So, I figured it was worth a try... I was able to tie down my trunk in the meantime (even though there isn't really a good way to do so with that car)Got the part a week later (some delivery issues with UPS Surepost...not a fan)....and brought a screw driver, a pair of pliers and a 10mm ratchet out to the car and in literally 15 minutes it was done and working. (Keep in mind, I am NOT mechanically inclined....THAT'S how easy this was)You can bet if the dealership had to fix it, it would have run me at least $300+ for an overpriced part and ridiculous labor costs....so in the end, I guess they did me a favor by turning me away.Time will tell how long the replacement part will last.....but...for right now, I'm quite happy with it.The only star I docked was due to UPS SurePost......

Out of nowhere my trunk just stopped closing. So I went straight to YouTube and then back to amazon and searched for the best one. This was super easy to put on and it works! Glad to have my trunk back 😂

A quick Google search and a YouTube video saved me about $300.00. Easy to install, works exactly as its supposed to. Only took me about 5 minutes to install the new one on my car. We've had it installed for 3 weeks now and it's working without any issues. It works with the trunk button inside the car as well as with the key fob. Very happy with this purchase!

My Sequoia lift gate has become harder and harder to open, I tried lubricating the latch, it helped just a little but it was still difficult at times.I replaced it with this item and it's back to the way it's supposed to be.

My back hatch lock just stopped working on my 2016 Sorrento. I scheduled an appointment with KIA but it was a couple of weeks to get in. A long time without my tailgate working and very inconvenient. My partner said that I could probably do this myself, even though I don't have any experience fixing car doors. I watched some online videos and identified the part and ordered from Amazon. Removing the liner was not that hard but need a ratchet and Philips screwdriver and go slowly with care, so you don't break any of the plastic connectors (I gave it 4 stars for "Easy to Install" because of this, no fault of the part.) It took me about an hour because of my caution, but someone with experience (or braver) could probably replace the part in half the time. After a week still works great, and I probably saved $200 to $300 by not taking it to the dealership. Money well spent on this order.
